I’m dealing with sex addiction: Ozzy Osbourne
London–Singer Ozzy Osbourne says he is undergoing “intense therapy” for a “sex addiction” that nearly resulted in the disintegration of his marriage to Sharon Osbourne.
The 67-year-old said in a statement that he was “mortified” at the effect of his behaviour on his family, reports telegraph.co.uk.
The announcement came after hairstylist Michelle Pugh told the media that she had a “very real relationship” with Ozzy and that it lasted four years. “Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction. I’m sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context. I’d also like to apologise to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with,” Ozzy said in a statement.
“Out of bad comes good. Since the press exposed this, I have gone into intense therapy. I am mortified at what my behaviour has done to my family. I thank god that my incredible wife is at my side to support me,” he added.
Earlier this year, Ozzy moved out of the family home, with Sharon suggesting in May that their 34-year marriage could come to an end. However, the couple later indicated they were back together.
Orlando Bloom goes naked on outing with Katy Perry
Sardinia–Actor Orlando Bloom bared it all during his Italian getaway with girlfriend and TV personality Katy Perry.
Bloom was photographed naked during a beach outing here on Wednesday, reports nydailynews.com.
In some photographs, Bloom was seen stripping off his swimming trunks before taking a dip in the water with Perry.
The couple went for a racy voyage on a paddleboard. Perry didn’t seemingly care when her boyfriend was fully naked behind her.
The couple was later photographed hugging and kissing. The star of “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” was also seen spraying sunscreen on his girlfriend before she went swimming. The pair weren’t alone during their outing as other beachgoers were spotted sunbathing in the area.
Bloom and Perry were first linked in January 2016 after they were spotted flirting at a Golden Globes after-party.
Reese Witherspoon believes in afterlife
New York–Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has opened up about her spiritual beliefs, saying a person gets an angel when he or she goes to heaven post death.
During an appearance on Chelsea Handler’s Netflix talk show “Chelsea”, Witherspoon spoke of her thoughts about life after death, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
She said: “I truly believe you’re on a spiritual path that is yourself. We’re born alone and we die alone. I think we go to heaven. I think you get an angel and the wings and a halo and the thing and all that.”
The “Legally Blonde” actress is certain about her beliefs because she says she has seen the ghost of her late grandfather while she was performing on stage here and she even shared she could feel her grandparents’ presence while she was talking to Chelsea.
She said: “This is just me, I really believe it. I’ve had car accidents, I’ve given birth to babies, I swear my grandparents are in the room. I’ve seen my grandfather in a theater in New York when I was on the stage. I know it.”
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old actress expressed an anguish towards those who use religion to promote intolerance and hate.
Talking about her roots, she said: “I grew up, obviously, in the South and there is amazing, wonderful connectivity and people are loving and communitive. But there is a tiny aspect of it, people (that) use parts of the Bible in order to express their intolerance and their hate and they manipulate it.”
Cara Delevingne lost her virginity at 18
Los Angeles– Model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne has revealed that she lost her virginity at the age of 18 after she quit taking the anti-depressants she had been on for two years.
The 23-year-old actress — who is dating singer/songwriter St. Vincent — was prescribed the pills at the age of 16 when she was feeling depressed and suicidal, but hated them. She says it was only when she quit taking the medication that she could “feel things again”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“That week, I lost my virginity, I got into fights, I cried, I laughed. It was the best thing in the world to feel things again. And I get depressed still, but I would rather learn to figure it out myself than be dependent on meds, ever,” Delevingne told Esquire magazine.
“I hate meds. I don’t agree with them. It’s so easy to abuse them,” the “Suicide Squad” star added.
She admitted her teen years were extremely tough and says “all I wanted to do was die”.
“When it got to being a teenager, and all the hormones and the pressure and wanting to do well at school, I had a mental breakdown,” Delevingne said.
“I was suicidal. I couldn’t deal with it any more. I realised how lucky I was and privileged I was, but all I wanted to do was die. I felt so guilty because of that and hated myself because of that, and then it’s a cycle.
“I didn’t want to exist anymore. I wanted for each molecule of my body to disintegrate. I wanted to die,” she added.
Actresses not supposed to be perfect on screen: Melissa McCarthy
Singapore–She doesn’t like to play by any rules, and changed the Hollywood game with her flair for comedy. American actress Melissa McCarthy feels the world has moved on from the obsession to show ‘perfect women’ on screen and says actresses are not supposed to be perfect, but real.
“We were showing perfect women — they wore the perfect thing, they never got upset. I don’t know any of those women. I know women and men that are every colour and mood and emotion. Don’t be surprised when you see interesting, multi-dimensional women. That’s the goal,” McCarthy said here.
She added: “We are not supposed to be perfect; we are supposed to be real.”
McCarthy shared her views about portrayal of women on screen during an event organised here by Sony Pictures Entertainment for select media from across Asia for the “Ghostbusters” movie.
From her physique to her age, to the roles she picks, McCarthy is known for pushing boundaries, and treading new paths. The 45-year-old was named by Forbes magazine as the third highest paid actress in the world last year, and is a name to reckon with in the world of comedians.
The Los Angeles-based actress asserts that she feels “incredibly powerful” when she comes across real portrayal of women on the silver screen.
“I think it is always incredibly powerful when we see, in films and in art, the women that we are surrounded by. I am surrounded by strong, flawed, funny, heroic, crazy, loving women. And I think, for so long, we weren’t showing real women,” McCarthy said.
The actress has carved a niche for herself on the big screen as well as small screen with shows like “Gilmore Girls” and “Mike & Molly”.
