WALTHAM– Sarojit Malik, chairman and CEO of Access International Capital LLC, and a resident of Norfolk, MA, passed away in New Delhi, according to sources close to the family.
Known as Bachu, Malik is survived by his wife Kumkum Malik and children Saloni and Nikhil and siblings Raju and Ruma Malik. He passed away on Feb. 26 in New Delhi where he suffered a stroke.
Malik was the Chairman and CEO of Boston-based Access International Capital LLC that specializes in deal creation, strategic transaction advisory and creating innovative paradigms in different industries.
Before founding Access International in 1998, Malik worked at Arthur D. Little, Inc. Cambridge, and was a Senior Consultant with Price Waterhouse Boston. In India, he was Assistant Commissioner, Ministry of Finance.
Malik obtained a B.A. and M.A. in History from India’s well known St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and pursued a post graduate study in Law at Harvard Law School.
