Mumbai– Punjabi pop star Dil Sandhu celebrated his birthday on Thursday with a lavish gift to himself: a luxury watch reportedly worth ₹3 crore.

Best known for his hit track 14 Kille, Sandhu shared a heartfelt message with fans to mark the occasion.

“This isn’t about the price tag,” he said. “It’s a reminder to value time, honor growth, and celebrate how far you’ve come.”

Reflecting on his journey, Sandhu revealed that he came from humble beginnings, once having nothing but “a pen and a dream.”

Explaining the meaning behind the watch purchase, he added, “This birthday, I didn’t buy a watch to show off. I bought it to remind myself that hard work pays off. You have to love yourself enough to keep going, but stay grounded enough to remember why you started.”

Asked about his future plans, the rapper said he has “miles to go” before he can think of slowing down. “Right now, my work is my top priority and will continue to be for the next couple of years before I consider shifting my focus,” he said.

When questioned about his relationship status, Sandhu responded with a familiar refrain.

“I’m going to go the cliché way and say I’ll talk about it when I’m ready. I’m not the type to hide behind secrecy—so you’ll know soon!” he said.

Born and raised in Delhi, Sandhu developed a deep appreciation for Punjabi folk music early on and was heavily inspired by the legendary singer Chamkila. Despite having no formal training, he has carved out a place for himself in the hearts of music fans.

Next up, Sandhu is reportedly preparing for his Bollywood debut and working on international collaborations. However, no official announcements have been made yet. (Source: IANS)
