Badshah Explores Vulnerable Side in New Song ‘Inaam’ With Jasleen Royal

MUMBAI — Rapper-singer Badshah says his latest collaboration with Jasleen Royal, titled “Inaam,” allowed him to showcase a more introspective and vulnerable side of his artistry.

The track, whose title translates to “reward,” blends the distinct styles of both artists into a soft, emotional love song centered on intimacy and emotional security.

“‘Inaam’ let me explore a quieter, more vulnerable side of my artistry. It’s simple, honest and something I think a lot of people will connect with,” Badshah said in a statement.

Known for his high-energy music, the artist, whose real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, adopts a more restrained and reflective tone in the song, marking a departure from his usual style.

Jasleen Royal, who lends her signature soft vocals to the track, described the song as deeply personal and rooted in the idea of emotional comfort.

“It is about the kind of love that walks into your chaos and quiets everything. It is the feeling of being held, like coming home, even when everything else feels uncertain. There’s a quiet kind of love in it, where their happiness matters just as much as your own,” she said.

The song, written by Ansh Chahal, is presented from a feminine perspective and focuses on the idea that enduring love is found in presence rather than performance.

Royal added that the collaboration reveals a different side of Badshah.

“We’ve all seen his high-energy side, but here, you get to hear something much more vulnerable and real,” she said.

The track has been released under Universal Music. (Source: IANS)
