India Conference at Harvard Set for Feb. 10-11, Speakers Include Indian Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu

CAMBRIDGE, MA–The 15th annual edition of the India Conference organized by students of Harvard University will be held on 10th and 11th of February, 2018, at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.

Key speakers include Indian Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, Nitin Paranjpe, former CEO of Unilever India and current President of Unilever Home Care, and Indian film actor Kamal Haasan.

The conference is organized by the graduate students of Harvard University and will be held at the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School at the university campus. India Conference at Harvard is one of the biggest India focused, student led conferences held in the United States.

In 2017, the conference witnessed participation of over 100 speakers and 1100 attendees. This year, the conference will focus on the theme “Disruptive Innovation in India” and will bring together India’s thought leaders for a weekend of discussions, organizers of the conference said in an email.

“There will be several panel discussions from Politics to Investing in India to Entertainment and Media. Besides panel discussions and keynotes, the conference will also continue the ‘Inspire Series’, featuring short talks from distinguished Indians, who have reached the pinnacle of their respective fields,” they said.

In addition to Prabhu, Paranjpe and Haasan, other speakers include Poonam Mahajan (Member of Parliament, BJP), Adil Zainulbhai, Amish Tripathi, K.T. Rama Rao, Nara Lokesh, Rahul Kanwal, Sabyasachi Mukherji, Rajeev Nayar and Rana Kapoor among other influential speakers this year.
