Danvers, MA — The North Shore Conference for Women returns on May 29, 2025, with a powerful lineup of speakers, community leaders, and honorees committed to inspiring and empowering women across the region.

Headlining this year’s event are the founders of Women Who Win—Dr. Manju Sheth, Dr. Deepa Jhaveri, and Shaleen Sheth—who will receive the 2025 She’s Local Goddess Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to women’s empowerment.

The annual conference, hosted by She’s Local, a nonprofit dedicated to creating affordable, hyper-local experiences for women, will take place at the DoubleTree Hilton in Danvers. This year’s theme, “Embrace and Elevate,” aims to unite women from all backgrounds who are passionate about personal and professional growth, health, and well-being.

Emmy Award-winning broadcaster and cookbook author Maria Sansone will serve as emcee for the event. Known for her relatable on-screen presence and popular podcast MOM2MOM, Sansone brings a dynamic energy to the conference, underscoring its mission to uplift and connect local women.

Keynote speakers include Jo Ann Simons, CEO of the Northeast Arc and nationally recognized disability advocate, and Pamela Pearson, entrepreneur and women’s empowerment coach, who will share their personal journeys and insights on leadership, resilience, and transformation.

“This year’s conference is a celebration of women who lead with purpose and heart,” said Marcel Quiroga, Chair of the North Shore Conference. “The honorees, keynote speakers, and panelists truly reflect our theme of ‘Embrace and Elevate.’”

The conference will also feature 10 panel discussions covering topics such as financial security, health and nutrition, entrepreneurship, family life, and sisterhood. All speakers and panelists either live or work in Boston’s North Shore, reinforcing the conference’s community-focused approach.

A highlight of the event is the presentation of the She’s Local Goddess Award to Dr. Deepa Jhaveri, Dr. Manju Sheth, and Shaleen Sheth, co-founders of Women Who Win, a global platform that amplifies the voices of diverse women through storytelling, interviews, and advocacy.

To kick off the two-day celebration, a Comedy Night will be held on the evening of May 28, featuring local favorite Jody Sloane. Tickets for the comedy event are sold separately for $35.

Tickets for the conference are $52, a price point designed to ensure accessibility to all women. “Affordability and authenticity are at the core of everything we do,” said Jen Maseda, CEO and founder of She’s Local. “With over 30 relatable speakers, a strong local focus, and an all-volunteer board, this conference offers something truly special.”
