Kriti Sanon Says ‘Cocktail 2’ Character’s Style Reflects Her Free-Spirited Side
Mumbai — Kriti Sanon has shared new details about her character Ally in the upcoming film “Cocktail 2,” saying the character’s fashion reflects her “unhinged” and “beautifully chaotic” personality.
Sanon posted a series of looks from the film on Instagram on Tuesday, including beachwear and wedding-inspired outfits. She credited stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania for shaping Ally’s appearance and said the styling helped present a new side of her on screen.
“Ally is probably the most liberated, free spirited, no judgement kinda character I’ve played,” Sanon wrote. “She is unhinged and beautifully chaotic, and that fully reflects in her fashion as well!”
The actress also thanked associate costume stylist Sukriti Grover, her hair and makeup team, director Homi Adajania and cinematographer Santha Kumar for helping create the character’s look and feel.
Sanon said she drew parts of Ally’s personality from Adajania, calling the character one of the most special roles she has played.
Dia Mirza Clarifies Remark Linking Patriarchy to Climate Change
Mumbai — Dia Mirza has responded to criticism over her recent comments that linked men and patriarchal systems to climate change, saying her remarks were not aimed at blaming individual men.

The actress and environmental advocate said her statement was about the role of patriarchal power structures in environmental degradation.
“Patriarchy caused the climate crises,” Mirza wrote on Instagram. “Climate change is often spoken about as an environmental crisis. But it is also a crisis of inequality.”
Mirza said patriarchal systems have historically concentrated power, encouraged extraction over care and treated nature and vulnerable communities as resources to be exploited.
She added that women and girls, especially in vulnerable communities, are often among the first to suffer the effects of climate change through water scarcity, food insecurity, displacement and loss of livelihoods, while remaining underrepresented in environmental decision-making.
Her clarification came after she faced trolling over comments made on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, where she said men had driven climate change and were responsible for the chaos it had caused.
Mirza said climate action must also include justice and a move away from systems based on domination toward equity, compassion and respect for nature.

Soha said that whether Inaaya eventually studies at Oxford or not, seeing the campus through her daughter’s eyes made the day “magical.”
The photos showed Soha, Inaaya and Kunal posing together on the historic campus.
Soha recently also spoke about a favorite childhood toy named Eliott, which she has passed on to Inaaya. She said the toy inspired stories she created during summer vacations with her siblings, including Saif Ali Khan and Saba Ali Khan.
