MUMBAI– Actress Ananya Panday is celebrating her brother Ahaan Panday’s big-screen debut with a heartfelt trip down memory lane. Ahead of the release of Saiyaara, Ananya shared childhood photos and videos of the two on social media, expressing her pride and excitement.
“I’ve been obsessed with my brother since day one, and I can’t wait for the world to feel the same! Saiyaara in cinemas tomorrow! Can’t believe my little bean’s first movie is here. Welcome to the movies, Ahaaani!!” she wrote.
Saiyaara marks the Bollywood debut of Ahaan Panday and is directed by Mohit Suri, known for hits like Aashiqui 2, Zeher, and Awarapan. Unlike his past work with Vishesh Films, Saiyaara is produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF).
Calling the film a tribute to the romantic dramas that inspired him, Suri said, “Romance is a genre that will always be close to my heart. Saiyaara is my homage to the great love stories I grew up with.”
He added, “The overwhelming response to the teaser means so much to us. Ahaan and Aneet have poured their hearts into this project, and I’m excited to share it with the world.”

Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is a Tamil action thriller starring Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and more. The film is highly anticipated, reuniting Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj on screen for the first time in nearly four decades since Mr. Bharath (1986).
The film, centered around gold smuggling, is set to release worldwide on August 14, 2025.
