Ranveer Singh Pays Tribute at Hedgewar Smruti Mandir, Meets RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat

Mumbai— Actor Ranveer Singh visited the Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh, Nagpur, where he paid tribute to K. B. Hedgewar, the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), during a brief visit on Friday.

Following the visit, the actor met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, with sources describing the interaction as a cordial and meaningful exchange.

Ranveer Singh, who is currently starring in “Dhurandhar”, was seen dressed in a white kurta-pyjama during the visit. He reportedly arrived in Nagpur from Mumbai by chartered flight around 4:00 pm and left for Mumbai later the same evening after spending a few hours in the city.

The RSS has confirmed the actor’s visit and meeting.

This is not the first time Singh has acknowledged the organisation publicly. During its centenary year Vijayadashami celebrations, he had extended greetings to the RSS and expressed appreciation for its century-long social work and continued influence.

On the professional front, Singh has recently been in the spotlight for his latest film “Dhurandhar: The Revenge”, part of a two-film franchise released in 2025 and 2026. The action drama features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.

The franchise follows the story of an undercover Indian intelligence operative navigating criminal syndicates and political networks in Karachi as part of a mission to neutralize national security threats. Both installments have reportedly performed strongly at the box office. (Source: IANS)
