BOSTON— Leader Bank Chairman and CEO Sushil Tuli will take the mound at Fenway Park tonight to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Boston Red Sox face off against the Colorado Rockies. The appearance is part of the Red Sox’s India Celebration Night, an annual event honoring the rich culture and contributions of the Indian-American community.

Tuli was invited to participate by the India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB), which is partnering with the Red Sox for the celebration. Fans can expect an energetic pre-game program featuring traditional Indian folk dances, percussion performances, vibrant fashion displays, and a special India-themed Red Sox jersey giveaway.

“As a Red Sox fan, it is an honor to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the nation’s most historic ballpark,” said Tuli. “It is particularly meaningful to celebrate with Greater Boston’s Indian-American community on such a joyful occasion.”

A respected leader in Massachusetts’ financial sector, Tuli has played a transformative role in community banking for over 35 years. Since founding Leader Bank in 2002 with just one branch and $6.5 million in assets, he has grown the institution into one of the country’s most successful community banks, now boasting $5 billion in assets and more than 400 team members nationwide.

The India Association of Greater Boston, established in 1962, is a key civic and cultural organization serving Indian-Americans across New England. The group is dedicated to promoting cultural pride, social engagement, and community development.

Tonight’s India Celebration at Fenway Park is expected to draw large crowds and serve as a vibrant tribute to Indian-American heritage in the heart of Boston.
