BOSTON–The South Asian Arts Council is hosting International Day of Yoga at Massachusetts State House on Thursday, June 23, at Massachusetts State House in Boston. This is a free public event all are welcome to participate.
South Asian Arts Council, a non-profit organization working to share the rich heritage of South Asia with the modern global world, said the event will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Great Hall of Flags at Massachusetts State House.
“The South Asian Arts Council is delighted to host the second Internationa Day of Yoga at the Massachusetts State House bringing yoga under the golden dome for the first time,” the Council said in a statement. “We invite you to start a journey, understanding that there are many paths but the destination is the same.”
Jay Gupta, a registered pharmacist and founder of YogaCaps, will serve as the Yoga instructor during the program.
