Harvard Forum Featuring India’s Finance Minister Postponed Indefinitely

Cambridge, Mass. — A highly anticipated forum at Harvard Kennedy School featuring Nirmala Sitharaman has been postponed. No new date has been set.

The event, titled “India’s Economic Strategy in a Multipolar World,” was scheduled to take place as part of the renowned John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum, a platform known for hosting global leaders and policymakers.

Sitharaman had been slated to participate in a conversation moderated by Gita Gopinath, the Gregory and Ania Coffey Professor of Economics. The discussion was expected to examine India’s approach to economic growth amid shifting geopolitical dynamics and an evolving global order.

The forum was originally planned as a hybrid event, allowing both in-person attendance and online viewing via livestream. Organizers had indicated that in-person participation would be limited to individuals with valid Harvard email credentials.

While no reason for the postponement has been publicly disclosed, organizers noted that updates regarding rescheduling will be shared once available.

The John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum regularly convenes influential voices from around the world, offering insights into critical global issues and fostering dialogue among students, academics, and the broader public.
