Sizzling Shilpa ‘knocks’ over fans with sari gown photoshoot
Mumbai– Actress Shilpa Shetty on Wednesday floored her fans with her look of the day, as she wore a sari gown for an event.
The actress, who was most recently seen in the action thriller series ‘Indian Police Force’, also cracked a ‘knock, knock’ joke, which is synonymous with diva Sara Ali Khan who is often seen sharing the punchline.
Shilpa took to social media and shared a string of photos in which she could be seen wearing a brown-coloured satin sari gown. It was paired with a matching sleeveless blouse. She opted for glossy lips, contoured jawline, highlighted cheeks, and thick brows. For jewellery, she wore a minimal green-coloured locket and earrings.
The look was rounded off with a brown clutch.

Her husband and businessman Raj Kundra commented on the post, saying: “My HOT milk chocolate.”

Anil Kapoor reveals it was Sonam who insisted he does ‘The Night Manager’
Mumbai– Anil Kapoor said on Wednesday that it was Sonam Kapoor, his daughter and fashionista, who insisted that he took up the part in ‘The Night Manager’ that earned him all-round accolades not long ago.
Kapoor played the oily arms dealer, Shailendra ‘Shelly’ Rungta, in Sandeep Modi’s Hindi adaptation of the BBC hit series based on John Le Carre’s novel, ‘The Night Manager’.
Speaking at the Indian Digital Summit 2024 in Mumbai, Kapoor opened up on the changes in technology over the years and how he stayed relevant with it.
Talking about how he keeps himself in sync with Gen Z, he said, “When you have the right people around you, it makes all the difference, it can be your children, your team. They can make you stay connected with Gen Z.”
On Sonam and ‘The Night Manager’, he said, “She reads a lot of books. When I was offered ‘The Night Manager’, she told me she had read the book and it is fantastic. She insisted that I should do the show.”
Going back to how he connects with Gen Z, Kapoor said: “I make sure that I keep on discussing ideas with youngsters. I speak a lot to them. That’s what I have done to stay relevant. Also, good filmmakers have come to me and chosen me. So, I have also been lucky.”
The actor also aired his views on the old debate about the South versus Hindi films and said, “I am sitting here because of the South. Most of my successful films have been remakes of South Indian films. Be it ‘Judaai’, ‘Beta’, ‘Woh Saat Din’, ‘Mohabbat’, ‘Nayak’. I think all the great Indian actors have had successful films that have been remakes of South Indian films.”
Kapoor concluded by saying: “This debate has always been there. It is more these days because certain South Indian films, notably ‘Baahubali’, ‘KGF’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, have become really big successes. I believe there are great stories and great actors. All are great Indian films.”
Salman offers fractional ownership of his paintings, teams up with art firm
Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’, has partnered with an art company to make his paintings accessible to his fans and art enthusiasts. This includes his diptych ‘Unity 1’ and ‘Unity 2’.
The ‘Unity’ is a reflection of the diversity, love, and respect that characterise the Indian society. The art company Artfi will fractionalise ‘Unity 1’ and ‘Unity 2’ into 10,000 fractions, allowing everyone to participate in its ownership through fractionalised ownership.
‘Unity 2’ by Salman is painted with acrylic on canvas with a size of 152.5 x 76 cm.
Talking about the development, Salman said in a statement, “I’m delighted to be associated with Artfi on this initiative to make my paintings accessible, and I’m pleased to see that through this my art will be shared with people around the world.”
The deal harnesses the power of blockchain technology and the popularity of Salman Khan’s artistry.
Artfi has consigned artworks with a total value of $25 million from renowned artistes V. S. Gaitonde, Ram Kumar and Sacha Jafri.
Raveena Tandon is a picture of elegance in white saree for wedding
Mumbai– Actress Raveena Tandon, who is an avid social media user, on Wednesday shared some elegant pictures of herself wearing a beautifully embellished white saree for a wedding.
Raveena treated her 8.5 million fans to absolutely enchanting pictures of herself from a wedding.
The series of photos shows Raveena posing in a garden, wearing a white saree with pearl embellishment on the border. She opted for a matching blouse with heavy pearl design on it.
For the makeup, Raveena opted for — glossy pink lips, black eyeliner, kohl-rimmed eyes, and highlighted cheeks. Her hair was parted from the centre and tied in a low bun, with white flowers on it.
The actress, who was recently seen in the web series ‘Karmma Calling’, sported an emerald green and white choker necklace, matching ring, earrings and a maang tika.

Arjun Kapoor opens up on playing villain in ‘Singham Again’
Mumbai– Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who plays the antagonist in director Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Singham Again’, has said that life has come full-circle for him with this role as he started his career by doing characters with grey shades.
The actor also said that he owes it to Aditya Chopra and Rohit Shetty for believing in his ability to portray negative roles.
Talking about the same, Arjun said: “I started my career in the industry by playing characters with negative shades in ‘Ishaqzaade’, ‘Aurungzeb’ and after all these years, here I’m, playing a villain in ‘Singham Again’. While, Aditya Chopra saw it in me to play characters that are flawed then, now, I’m thankful to Rohit Shetty for having the belief that I could play an out and out villain in his ambitious and much-loved cop universe film. Rohit Shetty instilled faith in me and has been a guide at every step of the way.”
The actor continued, “Both these people have been true mentors in my film career and I’m grateful that a hit-machine film-maker like Rohit Shetty believes that I could surprise people by playing a villain in ‘Singham Again’.”
The actor said that playing the villain in Rohit Shetty’s film gave him the chance to experiment as an actor.
“I have always wanted to experiment on screen and give audiences something different to look at. So, playing an arch-enemy of the cops in ‘Singham Again’ was a thrilling opportunity for me. As I said, it feels like a full circle in my career when I’m on the sets of ‘Singham Again’. I got a lot of love by playing characters that were negative early in my career and I wish to get the same and more with ‘Singham Again’,” he added. (IANS)
