BOSTON—After presenting an engaging dance performance by kids at the Spring Wedding Expo earlier this year, the Academy of Creative Arts is returning with two performances– Sun Sathiya and Bajrangbali—at INDIA New England’s Fall Wedding Expo and Diwali Mela at Taj Boston on Nov. 1.

Fall Wedding Expo and Diwali Mela at Taj is organized by Desi Bridal News and INDIA New England News. The event is free for attendees. For free registration, visit: www.IndiaNewEngland.com. The Expo is aimed at providing a single venue where attendees can do their Diwali shopping and meet the area’s premier vendors for their special events and weddings. It will be packed with entertainment, dance and fashion show throughout the day.

“Wedding ceremonies in India are quite elaborate as we all know and it helps a couple come closer and closer through these ceremonies. Our teens will be performing on “Sun Sathiya” from the movie, “ABCD2″ signifying love for the beloved,” said Java Joshi, founder of Burlington, MA-based Academy of Creative Arts.

Joshi said it will be the first time that her academy will be brining contemporary style of dance by kids to Boston. Academy of Creative Arts is an arts school where more than different forms of creative and performing arts are taught under one roof.

This particular dance is choreographed by two very talented instructors of the Academy: Shikha Bajpai and Dipal Anand. It’s a medley that combines contemporary and freelance dance styles.

Sun Sathiya will be followed by a devotional song to “Bajrangbali” by kids. It’s time for Diwali, festival of lights, and destruction of evil. This dance form is freestyle.

“Taj is the most exclusive brand in India, and we are very excited to host our Fall Bridal and Mega Diwali Mela this year at Taj in Boston,” said Upendra Mishra, publisher of INDIA New England News and producer of the show, which is attended by thousands of people in spring and fall each year.
