Meet the Team Behind Dreamcatchers Fashion Show at Fall Wedding & Diwali Mela at Taj Boston

Ruchika-Arora-WOY_4BOSTON—Meet the team that has put together probably the nation’s first fashion show themed after dreamcatchers. About a dozen participating models, who will display elegant ethnic wear at the Fall Bridal & Diwali Mela at Taj Boston on Sunday, Nov. 1, are dreamcatchers in their own ways. Their age ranges from teens to fifties. The event is organized by INDIA New England News, the region’s oldest and largest print, online and video magazine. The team behind dreamcatchers fashion show, which is presented by INE MultiMedia, includes Ruchika Arora, choreographer, fashion designer and state director for Miss India USA pageant; Vidhi Dalia, owner and make-up artist at Flawless Creations by Vidhi; and Ambika Mangtani, owner, IndofashionZ by Ambika Mangtani.

Dr. Manju Sheth, president of INE MultiMedia, a non-profit company devoted to education, empowerment, enrichment and entertainment, is the creator of Dreamcatchers fashion show.

The show is sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a not-for-profit health services company serving more than one million members in New England. A profile of about a dozen dreamcatcher models will be published on Friday in INDIA New England’s online edition. In addition, Wedding & Diwali Mela will also host live dances and songs by local artists and their profiles will be published on Wednesday. “It is the first fashion show based on people who have achieved their dreams,” said Dr. Sheth, who conceptualized show by same name premiering this week in INDIA New England News. “I want to thank Ruchika Arora for bringing her creativity and expertise to this show and Ambika Mangtani for the fabulous clothes. I would also like to thank our make-up artist Vidhi Dalia for her help.”

The fashion show is choreographed by Arora, who is state director for Miss India USA and organizes Miss India New England for Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, and runs a personality development program for contestants which trains them in catwalk, stage appearance, public speaking, also provide guidance about diet and nutrition, clothing/accessories.

Arora is trained and experienced as a designer in Fashion Industry in New Delhi (NIFT) and New York (FIT). She received award for being •State Director of the year’ by Miss India USA in 2014. She is passionate about Indian textiles, art, culture and fashion from around the world.

Ambika-MangtaniThe clothing wear for the fashion is provided by IndofashionZ by Ambika Mangtani. She has been serving the Greater Boston area since 2011 through her Indofashionz Boutique located in Nashua, NH.

“I believe true fashion comes from within, it doesn’t matter what brand you wear. My collection of clothing and jewelry reflects my passion for fashion, and the inner artist in me. I travel to various regions in India in search of unique fabric and jewelry pieces. I put very strong emphasis on providing unique and personalized look for each of my clients,” says Mangtani. “I’m very proud to introduce first time ever in New England area, elegant Western evening gowns with Indian touch of style. Women are strength of this universe and my collection brings smallest glory on their faces, that is the best reward I can ever receive. It is my extreme pleasure to be a part of theme reflecting people’s real dream coming true. I salute India New England News team, especially Manju and Upendr Mishra for giving me a chance to be a part of this amazing event.”

Vidhi-DaliaHair and makeup artist for the show is Vidhi Dalia, owner of Flawless Creations by Vidhi, an on- stop shop for makeup, hair and dressing for Special Day.

“My passion lies in creating unique and distinctive looks for my clients by emphasizing the natural beauty in each individual face. Finding the perfect makeup style for my clients, whether the event calls for simply natural or elaborately dramatic, is always my first priority,” says Dalia. “Over the last few years I have done makeup and hair for weddings, bridal parties, pageants, fashion shows, magazine photo shoots, personal photo shoots. Our free-spirited attitude, passion for beauty, and tireless work ethic make us stand out as a rising young talent in fashion and entertainment world.”
