Shruti Haasan Reveals She Has Not Visited a Hair Salon in Five Years

Chennai — Actress and singer Shruti Haasan has revealed that she has not visited a hair salon in at least five years and cuts and treats her hair herself.

Known for her goth-inspired fashion and long, jet-black hair, Haasan shared details about her hair care routine during a recent “Ask Me Anything” session on Instagram.

A fan asked how often she visits salons for hair washes, treatments and spa services.

“I haven’t been to a hair salon in at least five years. The last time I coloured my hair was 2017. I cut and treat my own hair,” Haasan replied.

The actress said she maintains her hair at home instead of relying on professional stylists or chemical treatments.

Her revelation surprised fans, many of whom praised her self-sufficient approach to beauty and personal care. One social media user wrote, “This is the most Shruti thing ever”!

Haasan has frequently spoken about authenticity, self-sufficiency and mental health. Her approach to hair care reflects the same independence she has displayed through her music, fashion and fitness choices.
