Aarav Credits Darbuka Shiva’s Song ‘Visiri’ for Helping Him Get Married

CHENNAI — Actor Aarav has credited music director Darbuka Shiva’s music with playing a memorable role in his personal life, saying he impressed his future bride’s family by singing the song “Visiri.”

Aarav made the comments while attending the pre-release event for director Dayal Padmanabhan’s upcoming period crime thriller “Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku.”

Speaking at the event, Aarav turned to the film’s music director, Darbuka Shiva, and thanked him for what he described as an important contribution to his life.

“Darbuka Shiva bro, your music has played a big role in my life. It was because of you that I got married,” Aarav said with a smile.

He then explained that the moment happened during a visit to see his future bride’s family.

“Usually, when bridegrooms visit the bride’s side, they ask if the bride can sing. When we had gone to see the bride, I had simply asked if the bride could sing. Those present there said, ‘Why should only brides sing? Let the bridegroom sing,’” Aarav said.

“So, I sang your song ‘Visiri’ and that was how my wedding happened. Thank you so much,” he added.

The makers of “Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku” have said they are considering releasing the crime legal drama on June 26.

The film stars “Jiivi” actor Vetri as Arivumathi, with Rangaraj Pandey as Sivanandham. Brigida plays Mallika, Saravanan appears as Sargunam, and Maaran plays Murthi. The cast also includes several other performers.

The film’s music and background score are by Darbuka Shiva.

The first look of the film was launched by filmmaker Vetrimaran, who praised the team’s conviction and sincerity after watching select visuals.

Directed by Dayal Padmanabhan, “Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku” is produced by K.V. Sabareesh under the 2M Cinemas banner. Padmanabhan also serves as co-producer under D Pictures.

The screenplay and dialogues were written by Kavitha Bharathi and Dayal Padmanabhan. M.V. Paneerselvam handled cinematography, while V. Boopathi edited the film. (Source: IANS)
