Shilpa Shetty Shares Playful Parenting Video With Son Viaan

MUMBAI, India — Shilpa Shetty shared a humorous video with her son, Viaan Raj Kundra, showing a familiar parenting moment that ended with her own mother getting the last laugh.

In the Instagram video, Shetty is seen scolding Viaan over his habits before the clip cuts to her mother smiling knowingly, suggesting she remembered similar moments from Shetty’s own childhood.

“Moms really wait for the day the tables turn. #MaaHaiNa #MothersDayEveryday,” Shetty wrote in the caption.

Shetty, who is married to businessman and actor Raj Kundra, has two children with him, Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra. The couple married in 2009.

The actress recently shared other glimpses from her travels, including a visit to Banaras, where she highlighted traditional Banarasi sarees, local food and spiritual stops. She also visited the Vindhyavasini Temple and previously shared moments from a visit to the Tripurasundari Shaktipeeth temple in Tripura.

MUMBAI, India — Urvashi Rautela said her character in the second season of Inspector Avinash is shaped by restraint, fear and emotional survival.

Rautela is set to return as Poonam Mishra, the supportive wife in the action crime thriller series led by Randeep Hooda. She said the new season explores a quieter kind of strength within her character.

“The most powerful emotion driving my character this season is survival wrapped in silence,” Rautela said.

She said crime dramas often focus on violence and action, but her role centers on fear, emotional isolation and the need to protect oneself.

“She’s driven by restraint. Sometimes strength is not about aggression; it’s about enduring things quietly while still holding yourself together,” Rautela said.

Inspector Avinash first premiered in 2023 and was directed by Neeraj Pathak. The series is based on true events and follows Avinash Mishra, a police officer brought in to fight crime in Uttar Pradesh.

Esha Deol Jokes About Her ‘Met Gala Moment’ in Mumbai

MUMBAI, India — Esha Deol gave fans a playful take on the Met Gala after a red-carpet moment in Mumbai took an unexpected turn.

The actress shared a photo from a recent event, calling it her “Met Gala moment in amchi Mumbai.” In the picture, Deol is seen entering in a lavender mini outfit and high heels before a large air cooler near the entrance sends her outfit flying.

She later joked in another clip, “When you least expect a cooler at the entrance… this is what you get… easy breezy!”

Deol, the daughter of Dharmendra and Hema Malini, made her Bollywood debut in Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2002. She later appeared in films including Dhoom, Yuva, No Entry, Dus and Cash.

She was previously married to businessman Bharat Takhtani. The couple, who have two daughters, announced their separation in 2024.

Aayush Sharma Shares Photos From Unplanned Family Vacation

MUMBAI, India — Aayush Sharma shared glimpses from an unplanned family vacation with his wife, Arpita Khan Sharma, and their children, Ahil and Ayat.

The actor posted a carousel of photos showing family moments, snowy mountain views, local food and quiet stops along the way. He said the trip became more about the journey than the destination.

“Kuch raastey Google Maps pe nahi milte,” Sharma wrote, saying some roads are not found on Google Maps. He described unknown roads, hidden small towns and a pizzeria whose name he could not remember but whose taste would stay with him.

He said the real souvenirs from the trip were his children’s laughter, curiosity and questions.

“Manzil nahi, raasta yaad rahega,” he wrote, saying the road, not the destination, would be remembered.

Sharma and Arpita, the sister of Salman Khan, married in 2015. They welcomed son Ahil in 2016 and daughter Ayat in 2019.

Sharma made his Bollywood debut in Loveyatri and later appeared in Antim: The Final Truth.

MUMBAI, India — Soha Ali Khan said her mother Sharmila Tagore’s stage one lung cancer diagnosis changed the way their family communicated and helped them become more emotionally open.

Khan discussed the experience during a Mother’s Day segment of her podcast All About Her, which featured Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.

“My mother and I were never the kind to say ‘I love you’ to each other on the phone,” Khan said. “In fact, when she told me she had been diagnosed with stage one lung cancer, she said it was because we don’t express ourselves enough, and that we must communicate more as a family.”

Khan said her family had not been especially demonstrative, adding that older generations often struggled to express love openly.

Soha Ali Khan has appeared in films including Rang De Basanti, Tum Mile and Khoya Khoya Chaand. She is married to actor Kunal Kemmu, and the couple has a daughter, Inaaya.

MUMBAI, India — Surbhi Chandna said her new streaming show Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam is built around love, family, food and cultural memory.

Chandna co-produced the series, which is set in a heritage South Indian restaurant fighting to survive. The story follows Meera Nair, played by Shiny Doshi, a chef trying to preserve her late father’s legacy through the restaurant. Her world changes when Arjun Thakur, played by Abhishek Kumar, arrives as a chef-investor with plans to revive the business.

“This show is very special to me because it has so much heart, warmth, & simplicity in its storytelling,” Chandna said. “Every day on this show has taught me something new, and it feels amazing to create something that celebrates love, family, emotions, and culture in such a refreshing way.”

Kumar said the series is not a typical romance or chef drama, but a story that uses food to explore emotion, control and personal history.

The series also features Nehalaxmi Iyer, Aman Singh, Prerna Sehjpal, Vijayalaxmi Gurav and Karan Khanna.
