LEXINGTON, MA—Third annual TriNethra, or Third Eye, dance festival is set for Nov. 17-18 in Lexington, MA, providing a platform to stage dancers and create an appreciation for dancers and their dance.

The TriNethra festival this year has teamed up with the Munroe Center for the Arts, Lexington, MA, and is a winner of the Mass Cultural Council Festival Grants Program.

This year’s line-up features US-based dancers from Massachusetts and New York.  There is a special performance on Friday (Nov. 17) evening of young upcoming dancers.  The performers are all classical Indian dancers and the styles to be presented are Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Bharathanatyam and Manipuri – each diverse in style, music, costume and presentation.

The festival was founded three years ago by Jayshree Bala Rajamani, a Lexington resident and a classical Indian dancer.  Here are the details about the upcoming event:
