BOSTON — A diverse lineup of events scheduled throughout June will bring together advocates, families, music lovers, and community leaders across Massachusetts for programs centered on social impact, cultural celebration, and community engagement.
From conversations on survivor-centered approaches to domestic violence and fundraising efforts supporting education initiatives in rural India to an outdoor Bollywood concert designed for audiences of all ages, the events reflect the region’s vibrant mix of civic involvement, philanthropy, and cultural expression.
IAGB to Host 5K Run Walk Supporting Education and Vision Initiatives

The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) has announced its upcoming IAGB 5K Run Walk for Education & Vision, a community initiative supporting education and vision rehabilitation programs.
The event will benefit the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation and Vision-Aid, both of which work to improve opportunities for underserved communities.
Participants of all ages will have the option to run or walk at their own pace while supporting the organizations’ missions. Organizers also announced that the first 100 registrants will receive a complimentary event T-shirt.
Saheli Conference to Explore Survivor-Centered Approaches to Domestic Violence

Saheli will host its annual conference, Beyond Survival: Safety, Systems & Dignity, bringing together advocates, legal professionals, healthcare providers, educators, policymakers, and community members for a day of discussion focused on survivor-centered responses to domestic violence.
The conference will feature a keynote address by Natalie Higgins, expert-led panel discussions on housing, financial stability, cultural dynamics, and digital safety, as well as networking opportunities and the Saheli Awards Ceremony. Ekal New England to Host ‘UTSAV: Bhajan Clubbing for a Purpose’

Sewa Boston to Host UJWAL 2026 Fundraising Gala in Newton
