Ekal New England to Host ‘UTSAV: Bhajan Clubbing for a Purpose’ in Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation’s New England chapter will host “UTSAV: Bhajan Clubbing for a Purpose” on June 6 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Marlborough, combining devotional music with fundraising efforts to support educational programs in rural and tribal India.
The event is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a social hour beginning at 2 p.m. followed by the main musical program from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The gathering is intended to bring together families and supporters through a blend of traditional bhajans and contemporary musical arrangements. The program will feature Rangrez, a musical ensemble known for combining devotional songs with modern instrumentation and rhythmic arrangements.
“This is not your traditional satsang,” organizers said in a statement. “It’s a celebration where chanting meets rhythm, and devotion meets dance—bringing generations together through shared joy and purpose.”
According to organizers, the event is also intended to raise awareness and support for Ekal Vidyalaya’s educational and community development initiatives. The organization works in underserved rural and tribal areas in India, supporting programs focused on literacy, digital education, healthcare awareness, and livelihood development.
Organizers said attendees will have opportunities to contribute through annual pledges, sponsorship of Ekal schools, and other forms of support for the organization’s programs.
“Every contribution, regardless of size, helps build brighter futures and stronger communities,” organizers said.
The event will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn Marlborough. Organizers said seating is limited and advance registration is encouraged.
Tickets and registration information are available through Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation Event Registration.
