LEXINGTON, MA—Lokvani, an Indian community news portal, and AcceptU, a local college counseling group comprised of former admissions officers, will jointly offer two free workshops on Sept. 11 in Lexington and Westford, MA.
The workshop is entitled “Inside the College Admissions Office” and will be held at the following locations:
- Lexington, MA: 2 pm – 3:30 pm at the Elks Lodge, located at 959 Waltham Street.
- Westford, MA: 5 pm – 6:30 pm at St. Mark’s Episcopal, located at 75 Cold Spring Road.
The workshop will be conducted by Anil Saigal, co-founder of Lokvani and a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University, and Marc Zawel, author of Untangling the Ivy League.
The two experts provide insight into how admissions decisions are made and what parents can do to improve their child’s chances.
Appropriate for families of middle and high school students in grades 6– 12, you will learn:

- Ways applicants can “stand out” and be more compelling and memorable.
