Jasmine Sandlas Embraces Self-Love Ahead of ‘Dream Girl’ Tour

Mumbai — Jasmine Sandlas is leaning into the message behind her upcoming “The Dream Girl India Tour,” sharing a new post about self-love and confidence.

The singer, known for songs including “Shararat,” “Illegal Weapon” and “Main Aur Tu,” posted a video from a photoshoot in which she appears in a maroon lehenga. The clip was set to “In Aankhon Ki Masti” from “Umrao Jaan.”

“I had to become my own dream girl before I could become yours,” Sandlas wrote.

The post drew attention from actress Sonam Bajwa, who commented, “Stop being so beautiful all the time.”

Sandlas first gained attention with “Muskan” in 2008 and later entered Bollywood playback singing with “Yaar Na Miley” from “Kick” in 2014. More recently, she sang “Taras” for “Munjya” in 2024 and “Nasha” for “Raid 2” in 2025.

Over the years, she has received several honors, including “Most Popular Song of the Year 2016,” and has appeared on platforms such as TEDx Talks, MTV Coke Studio and Spoken Word.

In May, Sandlas announced “The Dream Girl India Tour,” describing it as more than a move to larger venues. She said the tour is meant to create a shared energy between her and her audience.

“My journey has always been unfiltered and deeply tied to the people who listen to me. With ‘The Dream Girl’ tour, we are tearing down the walls and building an arena experience that feels incredibly intimate yet absolutely explosive. I’m bringing my rawest energy, and I expect India to bring theirs,” she said.

The tour’s title reflects Sandlas’ own journey from a young lyricist to an international Punjabi music star. It follows the success of her recent tracks from the Ranveer Singh-starrer “Dhurandhar” duology.

The multi-city tour is scheduled to travel through major Indian entertainment markets, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chandigarh, in July and August. (Source: IANS)
