CAMBRIDGE, MA—The India Caucus at the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard India Student Group are organizing a student-panel representing voices from both sides, followed by an open discussion with the audience today (Tuesday, Feb, 23)
The discussion will take place at 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, L-130 (Littauer building, first floor), in Cambridge, MA.
“The events at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in the past week have created outrage across the country. Everybody is angry and has an opinion(s). While some believe that the fundamental issue is one of free speech, some believe it is that of nationalism. The issues raised have complex layers which deserve deeper engagement,” organizers of the panel said on their event Facebook page. “Recognizing that even the Harvard community is divided on this issue, the India Caucus at the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard India Student Group are organizing a student-panel representing voices from both sides, followed by an open discussion with the audience.”
