Priyanka flattered by ‘Sexiest Asian Woman’ title

Mumbai– Actress Priyanka Chopra has been named ‘Sexiest Asian Woman’ for the fifth time in a row. She feels flattered.

The “Quantico” star has topped a list of 50 ‘Sexiest Asian Women’, compiled by London-based weekly newspaper Eastern Eye.

Priyanka tweeted: “I should thank my mom and dad for this award…lol! It’s purely their genetics and also the immense love you guys give me every single time which has put me on top of the list 5 times over. Thank you Eastern Eye… you do know how to flatter a girl!”

In the list, TV actress Nia Sharma acquired the second spot while the “Bajirao Mastani” star Deepika Padukone was on the third position.

Ali Zafar welcomes London Mayor to Pakistan

Lahore– Pakistani actor Ali Zafar welcomed the Mayor Of London Sadiq Khan, saying Lahore is open to friendship.

“Honoured to welcome you Sadiq Khan to our city/country. Your thoughts are inspirational and so is your story. London is open, so is Lahore to friendship and more happy times to come,” Zafar tweeted on Thursday.

He also shared a photograph in which he is seen with Khan.

Khan is on a goodwill visit to Pakistan to promote his ‘London is Open’ campaign. Before coming to Pakistan, Khan spent three days in India.

Farhan Akhtar urges people to invest in healthcare

New Delhi– Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who takes fitness seriously, will now endorse Apollo Munich Health Insurance.

As the brand ambassador, he aims to make more Indians aware of health insurance.

“I am someone who takes fitness very seriously but at the same time, I feel that we live in a very stressful world. When we talk about our parents’ generation and before them, the times are very different. The world is so fast now.

“If we see the lives of people and their sleeping patterns, heath issues start at a younger age than it used to for people of generation before us,” Farhan said here on Thursday.

So, he feels it is important to have health insurance at a young age.
