Karishma Tanna stuns in white: Felt like dressing up

Mumbai– Actress Karishma Tanna looked every-inch gorgeous as she dolled up in an all white outfit.

Karishma took to Instagram, where she posted a handful of pictures posing on her couch dressed in a pearly white backless dress.

For the caption, the diva wrote: “Felt like dressing up”.

A few days ago, the actress posted a picture of herself in a classic white T-shirt paired with a long denim skirt with a thigh high slit. She captioned the post with a black heart.

Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh praised Karishma in the comment section and wrote: “Pretty”.

Karima replied to her by saying: “Thank you my love.”

The 40-year-old actress made her acting debut in 2001 in the small screen with the longest running family drama ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.

After which, Karishma was seen in “Paalkhi”, “Naagin 3”, “Qayamat Ki Raat”, “Kahi To Milenge”, “Manshaa”, “Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand”, “Kkoi Dil Mein Hai”, “Kkusum”, “Raat Hone Ko Hai”, “Ek Ladki Anjaani Si”, “Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha”, “Ek Shyaam”, “Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi”, “Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo” and “Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat”, among others.

Apart from fiction, Karishma has showcased her prowess in the reality sphere as well. She has participated in “Bigg Boss 8” hosted by Salman Khan, dance show “Nach Baliye 7”, and “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10”, where she lifted the winner’s trophy.

It was her portrayal of Jagruti Pathak in the crime series “Scoop”, which earned her big praise by critics and audiences alike. The show also features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Harman Baweja in lead roles, along with Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Deven Bhojani.

Ekta Kapoor arranged get-together to cheer up Ankita Bhargava after miscarriage

Mumbai– Actress Ankita Bhargava Patel has opened up on how Ektaa Kapoor arranged a get together for her after her miscarriage.

In a podcast with actor Shardul Pandit titled as ‘Uncensored with Shardul’, Ankita said: “I am very good friends with Ekta. She was the first person who arranged a get-together for me after I miscarried. I was not stepping out of home (following the unfortunate incident).”

“At her house, she asked Karan who all are the people that I can invite which will make Ankita happy. And Ekta invited only those people. I will forever be indebted to her because no one has done that,” she added.

Ankita had tied the knot with actor Karan Patel on May 3, 2015.

Ankita is known for her work in shows like ‘Sanjivani’, ‘Kesar’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Dill Mill Gayye’, ‘Dekha Ek Khwaab’, and ‘Reporters’.

Karan is best known for his work in shows like ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’, ‘Kkavyanjali’, ‘Kasamh Se’, ‘Karam Apna Apnaa’, and ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatien’.

Jacqueline Fernandez feasts in Saudi Arabia on her birthday getaway

Mumbai– Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who has recently turned 39, has shared a sneak peek into her birthday vacation with her parents to Saudi Arabia.

Jacqueline took to Instagram, where she has 70.6 million followers, and shared a string of photos from Saudi Arabia.

The first snap shows the diva wearing a body-hugging sleeveless dress, and is posing against the picturesque backdrop. Another photo shows her wearing a floral dress and enjoying a local drink.

There is also a photo of Jacqueline and her parents, who are happily looking at the birthday decorations done for the ‘Murder 2’ actress.

We can also see a picture of Jacqueline enjoying a delicious meal, and trying her hands at some water sports.

The post is captioned as: “Saudi was definitely my perfect birthday weekend getaway #BeTheFirst– my experience was unforgettable with my parents!! Can’t wait to be back…”

Earlier, alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is lodged in a Delhi jail, had gifted a yacht to Jacqueline on her birthday. The yacht has been named after the actress as ‘Lady Jacqueline’.

It is the same boat, which Sukesh alleges that Jacqueline had selected in 2021. For her birthday, the conman pledged to donate Rs 15 crore and 300 homes for the families of the victims of the Wayanad landslide disaster.

The Sri Lankan actress and model Jacqueline made her acting debut in 2009 with fantasy action comedy ‘Aladin’ directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Riteish Deshmukh.

She then featured in a special number ‘Aapka Kya Hoga’ in the 2010 comedy drama ‘Housefull’.

Kangana Ranaut: Regret not being able to direct Irrfan Khan

Mumbai– Politician-actress Kangana Ranaut said that she would love to direct all three Khans — Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir — adding that she will always regret not being able to direct late actor Irrfan Khan.

During the trailer launch of her upcoming film “Emergency”, Kangana spoke about directing all the three superstar Khans in the industry.

She said: “I would love to produce and direct a film on all three Khans and I would also love to show the talented side of theirs where they can act, look good and they can also do something which is very significant to the society.”

Kangana said that she would love to make a film like that because she thinks “they are very talented and also what they are doing is that they are adding a lot of revenue to the industry and we should be eternally grateful to them”

The actress added: “But there is also a very artistic side to all three of them which has not been explored other than just a few films and I would love to explore that with so many actors.”

Talking about one regret, she said: “One actor I always regret not being able to direct is Irrfan Khan. He is one of my favorite Khans.

Irrfan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in March 2018. He passed aged 53 in April 2020.

“Emergency” is a period political drama directed by Kangana. She will be seen playing the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi in the film.

The film depicts the intense political and emotional challenges she faced during this era. The trailer provides a gripping insight into the nationwide curfews, the suppression of press freedom, and the closure of offices that marked this period.

“Emergency” also features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.

Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the film’s music is orchestrated by Sanchit Balhara with screenplay and dialogues by Ritesh Shah. The film is to be released on September 6.

Hina Khan shares joy of reuniting with her lost hair amid breast cancer battle

Mumbai– Actress Hina Khan, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Stage Three breast cancer, has shared a heartwarming video of herself reuniting with her hair, as she has made a wig of her own hair, that brings her ‘comfort’ during the challenging time.

The 36-year-old actress, who has 20.2 million followers on Instagram, shared a Reel video in which we can see her flaunting her hair which is attached to a black cap.

The snippet further shows Hina wearing the cap and smiling ear to ear for the lenses. She is donning a white crop top, black and white polka dot jacket and beige coloured trousers.

Along with the video, she penned a long note which read as: “The moment I was diagnosed, I knew l’d lose my hair, I chose to cut it off on my own terms while it was still healthy, long and vibrant. I decided to make a wig of my OWN hair that would bring me comfort during this challenging time. And I must say It was an empowering decision, and I’m so proud of it. And I want to send out a special message to all my Women brave hearts out there who are going through similar struggles.. if you resonate with my decision and agree with it ..I suggest you too do the same.. it will make at least one thing much easier and you will feel better.. you will feel home.”

“You know, It feels like somehow I am reunited with my lost hair when I wear it. It feels good, it feels cozy and it feels like home. It’s just a phase, I knew I will have to go through and decided preemptively to Normalise it first for my self and now that I have been using it, I thought it will be a good story to share with all of you. Taapsee Pannu: It feels like my birthday party isn’t ending

Mumbai– Actress Taapsee Pannu feels that her birthday party is not ending as she has had “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba” released and her upcoming film “Khel Khel Mein” set to hit the screens on August 15.

Taapsee, who turned 37 earlier this month, said: “It feels like my birthday party isn’t ending. And the gifts keep pouring in the form of love for both the films. Genres so diverse, characters diametrically different but releasing so close.”

Talking about the characters from both her films, she said: “Thankfully both the characters are opposites from the outlook to the kind of women they represent. I’m overwhelmed at the response to both n loving how my most favourite month is turning out to be.”

Directed by Jayprad Desai, in “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba” Taapsee and actor Vikrant Massey reprise their characters of Rani and Rishu and Sunny Kaushal joins the cast. The movie follows Rani and Rishu’s character and how they once again overcome hurdles with a dollop of thrill.

The first part, which was titled as “Haseen Dillruba”, released in 2021. The romantic thriller was directed by Vinil Mathew and featured Taapsee, Vikrant and actor Harshvardhan Rane.

It traced the story of a woman suspected of killing her husband and narrates an interesting story about her marriage.

Taapsee, who got married to Danish badminton player Mathias Boe after eleven years of dating in March 2024, recently spoke about the response “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba” has been getting.

The actress said: “Doing a sequel is always tricky because the first one comes with no expectations, and if people like it, it becomes a hit. But with sequels come expectations, which are always tricky to meet.”

“I knew how much people loved Rani from Part 1 So I kept those expectations in mind when I approached the next part,” she said. (IANS)
