Hrithik vs Jr NTR: Billboard Battle Heats Up Before ‘War 2’

Mumbai– Hrithik Roshan woke up to war—literally—when a giant Jr NTR billboard popped up outside his home, taunting, “You can’t win this war.”

Posting the photo, Hrithik fired back: “Okay @jrntr… challenge accepted. Remember, you asked for this. #9DaysToWar2.”

The banter comes as War 2 gears up for its Aug. 14 release. The first track, Aavan Jaavan, is already making waves, with Hrithik even sharing a video of his mom nailing its hook step.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the YRF Spy Universe blockbuster stars Hrithik, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani—and promises all-out action.

Mumbai– As Parineeta returns to theaters in a newly restored 8K print, Vidya Balan is reliving memories from her 2005 debut—and one in particular still cracks her up.

The actress recalled how late director Pradeep Sarkar would act out her scenes, complete with her character’s walk. “I’d laugh and say, ‘Dada, you don’t need to teach me how to walk,’” she said.

Vidya also remembered hearing Piyu Bole for the first time, calling it “soft, innocent, and magical”—just like her debut experience.

Co-star Sanjay Dutt fondly remembered playing his first Bengali character and working with Sarkar, calling Parineeta “a film made with heart and love” that still resonates 20 years later.

The restored Parineeta hits select PVR INOX theaters on Aug. 29.

Suniel Shetty: ‘I’m Still Far From My Best’

Mumbai– Suniel Shetty may be a Bollywood veteran, but he says he’s still chasing his peak. “I’m far from my best, and that’s what keeps me going. Reinvention is survival,” the Hunter 2 star said, crediting the younger generation and his kids for keeping him sharp.

Co-star Anusha Dandekar called the action-packed second season her “most rewarding” project yet — and her first Hindi series. “I was thrown into the deep end with no prep time. It was intense, but I gave it everything,” she said.

Hunter 2, also starring Jackie Shroff, is now streaming free on Amazon MX Player.

Next up, Shetty joins a massive all-star cast for Welcome to the Jungle, hitting theaters Dec. 20.
