BURLINGTON, MA— Academy of Creative Arts, a Burlington, MA-based educational institution where different forms of creative and performing arts are taught, will hold its annual show on Sunday.

Academy of Creative Arts is hosting its 2018-19 student Art Show + Dance & Music showcase and open house on June 17 from 2 – 4:30 pm at their headquarters on 12 A Street, Burlington, MA.

A small adventure with a big vision that started in living room of their small apartment by Java and Hetal Joshi, a couple from Lexington with a vision to bring all forms of arts under ONE roof is now gaining momentum and traction as more and more students join the academy.

The academy is located in a 18,000-square-foot facility that offers 35+ different programs catering to more than 450 students all under ONE roof in Burlington.

Java Joshi, who holds a PhD in Fine Arts, is actively engaged as a teacher and is passionate about creating next generation of artists.

“When me and my husband formed the Academy we wished to create an environment where creative juices flow and impact atleast one life to make creative and performing arts as their career… and we didn’t realize that it would happen within the first few years itself,” Java Joshi said in a statement.

She said one of her first students just chose fine arts as her career and is moving to California to pursue fine arts.

“Our household does not run from Academy. We are blessed our parents gave us the right foundation, education and power to make a difference. Academy is a completely self-funded not for profit venture and we take pride in creating a platform for all creative energies to come together and share their passion,” said Academy of Creative Arts co-founder Hetal Joshi. “We are just doing our bit for our community and our next generation… all we need is support and blessings to give us strength to continue to do this.”

The event on Sunday is free and open to all art lovers to visit and encourage little artists and also get a feel for various programs Academy has to offer.

“We strongly encourage you to go check them out during the showcase and open house. It would be a great opportunity to promote and support little artists and art in general,” co-founders said in a statement.
