Ajay Devgn Starts Shooting for New Horror Thriller
Mumbai — Ajay Devgn has started shooting for a new untitled horror thriller, once again teaming up with Panorama Studios after “Shaitaan” and “Raid 2.”
Directed by Rohit Jugraj, the film stars Devgn and is produced by Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
Plot details remain under wraps, though the makers say the film will explore a new world of mystery, fear and suspense.
Jugraj has previously directed the Punjabi “Sardaar Ji” franchise and worked on the series “Chamak” and “Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein.”
Devgn is also set to return as Vijay Salgaonkar in “Drishyam: The Conclusion,” the third and final installment of the Hindi franchise, scheduled for release on October 2, 2026.
Ananya Panday Celebrates First Pull-Up Milestone
Mumbai — Ananya Panday celebrated a new fitness milestone after successfully completing her first pull-up.
The actress shared a video of the achievement on Instagram Stories and also revealed that she completed 20 push-ups in a row.
“And 20 push ups in a row today woooo. Focused on reps today obvsss,” she wrote.
Panday regularly shares glimpses of her workouts on social media and has previously trained alongside fellow actress Sara Ali Khan.
She recently also posted about dealing with sudden breakouts, sharing a photo of herself wearing pimple patches.
Panday made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with “Student of the Year 2” and has since appeared in films including “Pati Patni Aur Woh,” “Liger” and “Dream Girl 2.”
She was most recently seen opposite Lakshya in the romantic film “Chand Mera Dil,” directed by Vivek Soni.
Disha Patani Says She Is ‘Grateful’ to Be Part of ‘Awarapan 2’
Mumbai — Disha Patani has expressed gratitude for being part of “Awarapan 2,” sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the film on Instagram.
“Grateful to connect with such amazing beautiful souls in this journey of telling a story that we all will cherish forever. Truly an honour to be part of this team and grateful for all the love that’s been received by the film blessed #awarapan2,” she wrote.
The photos featured Patani in character as Zara Singh, along with candid moments with co-star Emraan Hashmi and members of the film’s team.
“Awarapan 2,” released theatrically on August 14, 2026, stars Hashmi reprising his role as Shivam Pandit, while Patani plays a trained cello player from a gangster family.
Hashmi recently reflected on the franchise’s return, calling the sequel a rare opportunity for a film that initially struggled at the box office to find a new audience nearly two decades later.
Urmila Matondkar Marks 25 Years of ‘Aa Hi Jaiye’ From ‘Lajja’
Mumbai — Urmila Matondkar has celebrated 25 years of her song “Aa Hi Jaiye” from the 2001 film “Lajja.”
The actress shared a video on Instagram featuring the song and thanked fans for continuing to celebrate the track decades after its release.
“25 years of this song!!! And this post is humbly dedicated to ALL OF YOU!!!” she wrote, adding that she had enjoyed seeing recent posts dedicated to the song.
Matondkar also encouraged fans to “keep dancing through life,” writing, “Keep Shining n Dancing!! THERE IS A DIVA IN ALL OF YOU.”
Directed and produced by Rajkumar Santoshi, “Lajja” starred Manisha Koirala, Madhuri Dixit, Rekha and Mahima Chaudhry, along with Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Jackie Shroff and Danny Denzongpa.
Matondkar made a special appearance in “Aa Hi Jaiye” but was not part of the film’s main cast.
Kangana Ranaut Praises ‘Hanuman Ansh,’ Calls Film a ‘Satsang’
Mumbai — Kangana Ranaut has praised the recently released film “Hanuman Ansh,” based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, calling it more than just a movie.
Sharing a photo of Neem Karoli Baba on Instagram Stories, Ranaut wrote, “#hanumanansh is not a movie; it’s a satsang, beautifully woven short stories of people who had first-hand experience of #neemkaroribaba. Skip your therapy and go watch it.”
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar also praised the film, calling its theatrical performance an example of how strong storytelling can succeed without a major budget or star-driven cast.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa as Neem Karoli Baba. The cast also includes Chandan Anand, Purnima Tiwari and Vihaan Shedge.

Mumbai — Kajol shared a sweet moment with Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth’s son Vaayu, calling the interaction her “dose of serotonin.”
The actress posted a photo on Instagram showing her holding Vaayu as the two smiled for the camera. Another image featured Ishita standing behind them.
“Today’s dose of serotonin,” Kajol captioned the post.
Kajol and Ajay Devgn share a close bond with Ishita and Vatsal. Ajay has worked with Ishita in the “Drishyam” films and with Vatsal in “Taarzan: The Wonder Car.”
Ishita and Vatsal married in 2017 after meeting on the television show “Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar.” They welcomed son Vaayu in July 2023 and daughter Veda in June 2025.

Mumbai — Sara Ali Khan shared photos and videos from her visit to Tso Moriri in Ladakh, offering fans a look at her scenic mountain getaway.
“Unbound, unbothered, and untamed,” the actress captioned the Instagram post.
The pictures show Khan posing by the high-altitude lake, surrounded by mountains, while videos capture panoramic views of the landscape. One image also shows her sitting beside a bonfire.
Khan frequently shares moments from her travels on social media.
On the work front, she was most recently seen in Mudassar Aziz’s romantic comedy “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,” alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film was released in May 2026.
Taapsee Pannu Says She Values Lasting Roles Over Box-Office Numbers
Mumbai — Taapsee Pannu says she is comfortable not having many Rs. 100 crore films, arguing that a strong filmography matters more to her than short-term box-office success.
In an interview, Pannu said some films that initially struggle commercially later gain cult status and are remembered as among the best of their time.
“It is a conscious choice that I have made of choosing my filmography over temporary reward,” she said. “Even after 20 years, if I watch it, I will feel that yes, this was a good film.”
Pannu acknowledged that actors are often judged when their films underperform, even if those projects are appreciated years later.
“I am okay being someone who has probably not had 1000 crore, 5000 crore films. 100 crore films also for that matter,” she said. “I would rather be someone who is remembered for the kind of roles I have done.”
Pannu has appeared in films including “Pink,” “Mulk,” “Thappad,” “Badla” and “Dunki.”
She will next be seen in “Gandhari,” playing a mother searching for her abducted daughter. The film is set to premiere on September 3. (Source: IANS)
