Kajol Shares Handmade Artwork After Met Gala Buzz

MUMBAI, India — Kajol joined the Met Gala conversation with a handmade creation of her own, sharing a photo of a thread-based artifact on Instagram.

The actress, who was last seen in the streaming chat show “Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle,” posted the image Wednesday and playfully tagged longtime friends Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra.

“Since tis the season of MET here’s something handmade by moi! It’s about the karigars right @manishmalhotra05 @karanjohar,” she wrote.

Her post followed Johar and Malhotra’s appearance at the Met Gala, where Johar made his debut in a Manish Malhotra-designed ensemble inspired by the art of Raja Ravi Varma. Johar described the look as a celebration of Indian storytelling, art and costume.

The Met Gala is the annual fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York and is regarded as one of the world’s most prominent fashion events.

Preity Zinta Thanks Bobby Deol for Memories From ‘Soldier’ Shoot

MUMBAI, India — Preity Zinta looked back on her “Soldier” days with Bobby Deol, thanking her co-star for making her first outdoor shoot memorable.

Zinta shared a video compilation of scenes from the 1998 film on social media Wednesday, recalling the movie’s shoot in Australia.

“Look Bobby D what I found ….. Forever grateful to you for making my first outdoor shoot so memorable and so much fun in Australia,” she wrote.

She also joked about joining Deol and his wife, Tanya, during their honeymoon, adding, “PS- I loved being the third wheel on your honey moon @iambobbydeol.”

Zinta used the song “Mehfil Mein Baar Baar,” sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, as the background track for the post.

The actress had previously reflected on her friendship with Bobby and Tanya after reuniting with them at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party last year, saying her affection for the couple had only grown over time.

Kunal Thakur Recalls Emotional Visit From Father on ‘Glory’ Set

MUMBAI, India — Actor Kunal Thakur shared an emotional memory from the set of the Netflix series “Glory,” revealing that his father visited him at work for the first time in his nine-year acting career.

Thakur, who plays Raka Singh Beniwal in the sports crime thriller, said his parents live in Abu Dhabi and had never seen him perform on set despite years of shoots, struggles and career milestones.

“For the first time in 9 years of being in this industry, my father came to see me on set @netflix_in @atomicfilmsin,” Thakur wrote on Instagram.

He credited Mukti Mohan with arranging the visit, saying she brought his father into “the world I’ve been chasing for almost a decade.”

Thakur said watching his father quietly take in the moment felt more meaningful than any premiere, applause or screen time.

“This was my real moment of Glory, And honestly, nothing will ever top that for me,” he wrote.

Created by Karan Anshuman and Karmanya Ahuja, “Glory” also stars Divyenndu, Suvinder Vicky, Jannat Zubair, Ashutosh Rana, Sikandar Kher, Sayani Gupta, Yashpal Sharma and Kashmira Pardeshi. The seven-episode series premiered on Netflix on May 1.

Ektaa Kapoor Praises Priyadarshan After ‘Bhooth Bangla’

MUMBAI, India — Ektaa Kapoor praised filmmaker Priyadarshan after working with him on the Akshay Kumar-led horror comedy “Bhooth Bangla,” calling the experience one of the most enjoyable of her career.

Kapoor shared photos with the director on Instagram Wednesday and said their collaboration was built on mutual respect, despite expectations that two strong personalities might clash.

“I don’t think I’ve had more fun working with anyone than @priyadarshan.official,” she wrote.

Kapoor said Priyadarshan, who was making his 100th film, first asked whether she would make money on the project, saying he did not work on films unless the producer was financially secure.

She said that approach gave her confidence that the film and the company’s money were “in the right hands,” adding that any disagreements remained respectful.

Kapoor thanked Priyadarshan for his vision and discipline, calling “Bhooth Bangla” the biggest hit of her career.

The film, which also stars Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi, was released April 17.

MUMBAI, India — Mira Rajput Kapoor said women often need relief from the constant pressure of making decisions, describing time at her mother’s home as a way to mentally unwind and reconnect with herself.

Rajput, an entrepreneur and wife of actor Shahid Kapoor, shared a video on social media after returning from her parents’ home. She said the visit reminded her how freeing it can feel when no one is asking her to manage schedules, menus, meetings or household choices.

“I think sometimes women just need to be unburdened from making decisions,” she said. “That is such an unclogging of the mind.”

Rajput said women make countless choices each day and that being temporarily freed from that responsibility can bring a sense of release, ease and renewed energy.

She urged women to take breaks when needed, switch off their phones, avoid checking emails and allow themselves to be present with family.

Rajput said simple moments, such as watching children play, walking with parents or doing nothing at all, can help women feel more grounded. She encouraged women to find a person, place or situation that allows them to step away from decision-making and “just be.”

The actress shared photos and videos on Instagram Stories, first posting a picture of her blown-out hair with the caption, “The power of a good blowout.”

She followed it with another image, joking that she wanted to capture the look before her 2-year-old got his hands on it.

“One more because it won’t look this good once my 2 year old gets his little hands on it,” she wrote.

D’Cruz then posted a video of her son playing with her hair, adding, “Oh Well.”

The actress married Michael Dolan in 2023. The couple welcomed their first son, Koa Phoenix Dolan, that year and their second son, Keanu Rafe Dolan, in 2025.
