Set to premiere during Christmas 2026, the series revisits the early life of Harry Potter, beginning with his difficult childhood at the Dursley household, where he is mistreated by his relatives before discovering his true identity as a wizard. The trailer follows his journey from receiving his Hogwarts acceptance letter to stepping onto Platform 9¾ and boarding the Hogwarts Express.
Viewers are reintroduced to key characters including Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as well as iconic figures like Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. The trailer also teases familiar elements such as the Sorting Hat, Quidditch, and Hogwarts’ magical halls.
The series stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, alongside Alastair Stout as Ron and Arabella Stanton as Hermione. Veteran actors including John Lithgow and Paapa Essiedu round out the ensemble cast.
Developed as a faithful adaptation of J. K. Rowling’s seven-book series, each season will cover one novel. Filming is underway at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, with Francesca Gardiner leading the project and director Mark Mylod helming multiple episodes.
