WALTHAM, MA—INDIA New England News, the region’s oldest and largest print, digital and video magazine serving the South Asian community, announced the dates for its flagship events for the first six months of 2017. The dates for key events are: Health Expo: March 5; Spring Wedding Expo: April 30; and Woman of the Year: May 26.
The dates for New England Choice Awards and other events of second half of 2017 will be announced later.
“We are excited to announce these dates for the first half of the year so that people can plan accordingly,” said Upendra Mishra, publisher of INDIA New England News and its sister publication, IndUS Business Journal. “As usual, we will add some surprises to all three annual events this year.”
Health Expo this year will be the 5th annual mega show that will focus on modern medicine, yoga, meditation, alternative medicine, physical fitness, beauty, anti-aging, and from onsite exercise training to keeping fit with Bollywood dancing and numerous wokshops, Mishra said.
Spring Wedding Expo, which draws about 2,000 people every year, will offer everything that a bride, bridegroom and their family and friends would need to for a wedding. This will be the 9th annual spring bridal show produced by the INDIA New England News.
This year, Woman of the Year will celebrate 15th anniversary. The Woman of the Year Awards Gala honors 20 outstanding women from various fields. The event also honors a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
