24th Annual Akhanda Ramayana This Weekend at SriLakshmi Temple

ASHLAND, MA–The 24th Annual reading of the Tulasi Dasa’s  SriRamacharitamanasa is scheduled this weekend at SriLakshmi Temple in Ashland, MA.

SriRamacharitamanasa has been the staple for people of Indian origin in foreign lands to retain their nostalgic connection to the motherland.  Adopted from the original Ramayana by Valmiki in Sanskrit, the sixteenth century literary marvel SriRamacharitamanasa is a celebration of literature, poetry, music and social conduct.

It will be held from noon on Saturday, April 1 through 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 2 at the temple located at 177 Waverly Street in Ashland, MA.
