Urvashi Dholakia Debuts Short Bob Haircut, Says She ‘Kept the Attitude’

MUMBAI — Television actress Urvashi Dholakia has unveiled a bold new look, cutting her hair into a short bob and saying the transformation reflects both style and confidence.

Dholakia shared a video on Instagram showing off her new haircut, striking confident poses while revealing the chic short hairstyle.

“Cut the hair, kept the attitude. A haircut isn’t just a style, it’s an attitude,” she wrote in the caption accompanying the post.

The actress began her career at a young age, making her acting debut at six years old in a commercial advertisement alongside Revathi. As a child actor, she appeared as Rajlaxmi in the Doordarshan television series “Shrikant.”

Her first major television role as an adult came in the popular Doordarshan series “Dekh Bhai Dekh,” followed by “Waqt Ki Raftar.” In the 2000s, she gained recognition through roles in shows such as “Ghar Ek Mandir,” “Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii,” “Kasautii Zindagii Kay,” and “Kahiin To Hoga.”

Dholakia also participated in the sixth season of the reality show “Bigg Boss” in 2012 and emerged as the winner. She later appeared in the historical fantasy series “Chandrakanta” as Queen Iravati and returned to fiction television in 2022 with “Naagin 6.”

Recently, the actress also reflected on her experience on the reality show “The 50,” saying the journey helped her gain a stronger sense of self and clarity about trust and loyalty.

“Always choose yourself first !! It’s the first rule! Because when the game ends, you’re the only one still standing with you,” she wrote.

“I walked into #the50 knowing it was a game. I walked out knowing myself better. Not every lesson comes wrapped in loyalty !! Not every smile means security!! And not every alliance is meant to last!!”

She added that the experience reinforced the importance of self-belief.

“But one thing became clearer than ever.. when the noise fades and the lights go off, the only person who truly stands with you… is YOU!”

Dholakia said choosing oneself first is not about ego but about clarity, growth, and self-respect, adding that trust can be difficult in situations where loyalties constantly shift.

“So yes, I’ll always choose myself first. Not out of ego,Out of clarity,Out of growth.” (Source: IANS)
