Sai Pallavi Shares Glimpse of Springtime Family Moments

MUMBAI — Southern actress Sai Pallavi shared a warm glimpse of her springtime family moments, saying the season feels beautiful because of the people in her life.

Pallavi posted a reel featuring moments with her parents, grandparents and sister.

“My Delilah! Spring is when you’re here. Thank you for making our lives beautiful,” she wrote in the caption.

She used Plain White T’s 2005 hit “Hey There Delilah” as the background song for the video montage. The track was nominated for song of the year at the 50th Grammy Awards in 2008.

Pallavi began her career with uncredited roles and appearances on dance shows before gaining widespread attention with the 2015 Malayalam film “Premam.”

She has since appeared in films including “Kali,” “Middle Class Abbayi,” “Maari 2,” “Paava Kadhaigal,” “Love Story,” “Shyam Singha Roy,” “Gargi,” “Amaran” and “Thandel.” Her song “Rowdy Baby” became the first South Indian video song to cross 1 billion views on YouTube.

She was last seen in the Hindi romantic drama “Ek Din,” directed by Sunil Pandey and co-starring Junaid Khan. The film is a remake of the 2016 Thai movie “One Day.” Its story follows Rohan, a reserved man in love, who receives a single precious day with Meera through a wish-granting bell.

Pallavi will next be seen in the upcoming “Ramayana: Part 1,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. The film features extensive CGI work by Prime Focus and DNEG, the Academy Award-winning visual effects company behind “Dune.”

The film stars Ranbir as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan and Pallavi as Goddess Sita. Sunny Deol plays Lord Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan portrays Jatayu and Lara Dutt appears as Kaikeyi.

Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman are collaborating on the film’s music.

“Ramayana” is being developed as a two-part live-action cinematic universe on a large scale. The film also features Hollywood stunt directors Terry Notary, known for “Avengers” and “Planet of the Apes,” and Guy Norris, known for “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “Furiosa,” choreographing battle sequences.

The film is being made for IMAX and is scheduled for a worldwide release, with Part 1 planned for Diwali 2026 and Part 2 for Diwali 2027. (Source: IANS)
