Kansas City, MO –— Raj Shah, Director at Koehler Instrument Company, was awarded the ASTM International Award of Merit—its highest individual honor—at the ASTM Annual Meeting in Kansas City last week.
The award recognizes outstanding service and contributions to the development of global voluntary consensus standards. Shah was also granted the title of ASTM Fellow, marking a rare and distinguished achievement in the standards community.
The honor adds to a long list of accolades, including fellowships in leading global organizations such as the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Institute of Physics (IOP), and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
A prolific contributor to the lubricants and fuels industry, Shah was recently honored by the National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) with both the Clarence E. Earle Memorial Award and the Golden Grease Gun Award—the first time both were awarded to the same individual in a single year.
