BOSTON—TiE Boston, one of the region’s largest business organizations supporting the Massachusetts entrepreneurial ecosystem, today announced that prominent venture capitalist, industry thought leader and Battery Ventures General Partner Neeraj Agrawal will be a keynote speaker at TiECON East 2024.
Agrawal will be the morning keynote and will speak on “Advice for Founders – Lessons Learned from the Last 25 Years as a VC”.
Scheduled for September 13, 2024 at the Boston Sheraton Hotel in Boston, this year’s conference will spotlight the influential role of connected entrepreneurs in today’s dynamic business landscape. The theme for TiECON East 2024 is “The Connected Entrepreneur: Boundless Innovation and Borderless Connections”.

A prolific investor with a history of backing high–profile B2B companies, Agrawal has appeared eleven times on Forbes’ “Midas List”, which ranks the top 100 venture capitalists in the world, and broke into the top ten at number nine in 2019. In 2017, he was named as part of the Top 20 Venture Capitalists Worldwide by the New York Times.
Agrawal is a prominent industry thought leader on scaling cloud–software companies and, in 2015, introduced the “T2D3” growth metric for methodically growing SaaS enterprises.
He has provided insights on market trends in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, CNBC.com and more.
Agrawal is currently on the boards of Braze, Catchpoint, Coefficient, Compt, Dataiku, Level AI, LogRocket, Pendo, Reify Health, Shortcut, Sprinklr, Tealium, Workato and Wunderkind.
Prior to his position at Battery Ventures, Agrawal worked as a product manager at RealNetworks and an operating executive at SkyTV. He holds a BS in computer science from Cornell and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
