Business Trailblazer Award 2026 recipient reflects on his entrepreneurial journey, experience at leading technology companies and the growing cybersecurity challenges facing businesses in the age of artificial intelligence.

BOSTON–The rapid evolution of cyber threats and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence are creating new challenges for businesses, making cybersecurity an increasingly critical priority for organizations worldwide.
For Chandra S. Pandey, founder and CEO of Seceon, addressing these challenges has been the driving force behind his entrepreneurial journey and the development of an AI-powered cybersecurity platform.
In an exclusive video interview with INDIA New England News, Pandey discusses the founding of Seceon, the experiences that shaped his career in the technology industry and his vision for the future of cybersecurity as artificial intelligence transforms both the threat landscape and the tools available to defend against it.

With more than 25 years of experience spanning networking, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies, Pandey brings a broad industry perspective to his work. Before establishing Seceon, he held leadership positions at several major technology companies, including Juniper Networks, Ciena and Lucent Technologies. His experience across these organizations provided exposure to the evolution of networking infrastructure, enterprise technology and security systems, helping shape his understanding of the challenges facing large-scale technology environments.
In the interview, Pandey reflects on the transition from working within established technology companies to building his own business. He discusses the motivations behind founding Seceon, the opportunities he identified in the cybersecurity market and the challenges involved in turning a technology vision into a growing company.
Seceon has developed a unified cybersecurity platform designed to help enterprises and managed security service providers detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats through automation, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. The platform brings together threat detection and response capabilities to help organizations improve visibility across their IT environments and respond more effectively to increasingly sophisticated attacks.
Pandey also addresses the cybersecurity challenges confronting businesses today, including the growing complexity of IT infrastructure, the increasing volume of security alerts, the sophistication of cyberattacks and the difficulty organizations face in identifying and responding to threats quickly.
Artificial intelligence is adding another dimension to the challenge. While AI offers opportunities to automate security operations, analyze large volumes of data and identify suspicious activity more efficiently, it is also giving cybercriminals new capabilities to develop more sophisticated attacks. Pandey discusses how organizations must adapt their security strategies to address this rapidly changing environment and why AI-driven threat detection and automated response are becoming increasingly important.
An inventor with multiple patents in high-performance computing and scalable infrastructure, Pandey continues to focus on practical applications of artificial intelligence to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities.
His entrepreneurial leadership and contributions to technology innovation have earned him the 2026 Business Trailblazer Award at New England Choice Awards Gala 2026. The recognition highlights his role in building Seceon and advancing AI-driven approaches to cybersecurity at a time when businesses are facing increasingly complex digital risks.
