INDIA New England News, the region’s premier online and print newspaper, today announced that it will host the area’s first joint Diwali Mela & Bridal Expo on Oct. 6 at Hilton Hotel in Woburn, Mass. The expo is aimed at providing a single venue where attendees can do their Diwali shopping and meet the area’s premier wedding vendors.
“Packed with entertainment, live music, dance and fashion shows throughout the day, the event will bring together the region’s top vendors in areas of fashion, design, jewelry, photography, videography, restaurants, wedding planners, decorators and henna experts,” said Upendra Mishra, publisher of INDIA New England. “Since we opened the registration about a week ago, more than 100 attendees have already registered. We expect over 1,000 people to attend the expo throughout the day.”
The expo will open at 11:00 a.m. and will run through 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 6 at the Woburn Hilton. The hotel is also the platinum sponsor of the event. Silver sponsors include Alankar Event Planners & Decorators and Boston Sound and Light Co.
