WOBURN, MA–INDIA New England News, the region’s largest and oldest online, print and video magazine, announced that it will host its annual Diwali Mela and Fall Bridal Expo on Oct.1 at Hilton Hotel in Woburn, Mass.
“This year we plan to convert the entire ballroom and the exhibition area of the hotel into a mega Indian shopping mall for a day,” said Upendra Mishra, producer of the expo and publisher of INDIA New England News. “The expo is aimed at providing a single venue where attendees can do their Diwali shopping and meet the area’s premier wedding vendors and event planners.”
He said the day will be packed with dance and fashion shows throughout the day. The event will bring together the region’s premier vendors in areas of fashion, design, jewelry, photography, videography, restaurants, wedding planners, decorators and henna experts.
The expo will open at 11:00 a.m. and will run through 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Woburn Hilton. The hotel is also the platinum sponsor of the event. Silver sponsors include Alankar Event Planners & Decorators and Boston Sound and Light Co.
