WALTHAM, MA–Indian Medical Association of New England, known as IMANE, held its annual spring Continuing Medical Education, or CME, conference on Saturday at the Massachusetts Medical Society headquarters in Waltham, MA.
Named as “Nasir Khan Memorial Lecture Series: Update in Risk and Pain Management,” the conference was designed towards earning 5 category 1 CME credits in risk management for physicians.
IMANE President Dr. Sapna Aggarwal said the conference was attended by about 70 physicians.
“It was a great team effort with IMANE EC pitching in to make the event successful,” Aggarwal said in a statement. People had a great time listening to lectures while networking with their fellow physicians during breakfast, Indian lunch and visiting sponsors.”
The speakers at the conference were Dr. Anita Gupta, Paul R. Greenberg Esq. from Prety Flaherty LLP, Dr. Christopher W Shanahan, Roisin Cahill Esq. and Dr Sanjeet Narang.
Dr.Aggarwal thanked the entire committee for all the hard work, time spent in planning and execution of this event, especially the course directors Dr Umakanth Khatwa and Dr. Naveen Pandaraboyina and all the speakers, EC team, sponsors and attendees.
