LEXINGTON, MA—Hindi Manch, a non-profit organization that produces engaging and entertaining programs to pass on the heritage of Hindi and related languages to the next generation of Indian-Americans through literary sittings, theater and cultural and musical events, announced that on July 28 it will host “Kuch Tum Kaho, Kuch Hum Sunein,” an engaging and entertaining music and poetry session.

The program is produced by the Sahitya Vibhag, or the Literature group, of the Hindi Manch. The group says the program will be an “intoxicating combination of music and poetry for your entertainment and enjoyment. Kuch tum kaho, kuch hum sunein.”

“The evening will feature two segments, both designed to suffuse ones entire being with the joy and fun that music and poetry can impart,” the organizers said in a statement.

Winners of the 2018 Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest, organized by Hindi Manch and judged by Bollywood singer Kavita Krishnamurthy, will sing poetic songs from movies during the evening. The other segment will showcase local poets sharing their version of life with the audience “through the art of stringing words into a poem that speaks to a common humanity.”

Hindi Manch President Preetesh Shrivastava said this program comes after the successful conclusion of its first-ever National Hindi Convention, or Hindi Manch Rashtriya Mahotsav, recently in Boston.

“Our Boston Community here is immensely talented and is looking for platforms to bring forth their talent,” said Shrivastava. “We are blessed that Hindi Manch is one such organizations that people trust and continue to be a part of. Our Next event will bring forth our talented poets and singers. It’s going to be a mesmerizing event for us all.”
