WALTHAM, MA—Newcomer Godavari restaurant in Woburn tied for the first place with Needham’s Masala Art in the list of Top 10 Indian Restaurants in Massachusetts. “We were impressed by the in-depth response and comments about their experiences eating and dining at Indian restaurants,” said Upendra Mishra, publisher of INDIA New England News. “We were surprised by an overwhelming top rating of the food quality at Godavari, but readers modified their comments with long-lines, wait time and crowded place.”
Masala Art, which is owned and managed by the husband and wife team of Vinod and Shikha Kapoor, was ranked at the top last year as well. Earlier, the couple ran the famed Bombay Club in Harvard Square in Cambridge.
Ritu ki Rasoi of Burlington ranked number 2 while Singh’s Café of Wellesley took the third spot. Singh’s Café was ranked number 2 in 2015.
