Darshan Raval Says New Love Song ‘Saathiya’ Reflects How He Began 2026

MUMBAI, India — Playback singer Darshan Raval has shared that starting 2026 with a love song felt natural to him, as he unveiled his latest track, ‘Saathiya,’ a romantic number rooted in warmth and emotional simplicity.
The song has been sung, composed, and co-written by Raval, with music production by Anmol Daniel. ‘Saathiya’ is designed as a gentle celebration of love, built around a soothing melody meant to be enjoyed in quiet, intimate moments.
Explaining the inspiration behind the release, Raval said beginning the year with a love song felt instinctive. “For me, beginning 2026 with ‘Saathiya’ felt natural. I’ve been surrounded by so much love, and this song is my way of pouring all those emotions into something pure and intentional. I wish that Saathiya brings a lot of joy to everyone as much as I have enjoyed making it,” he said.
The track stands out for Raval’s soulful vocals and restrained musical arrangement, which blend seamlessly with its emotionally driven lyrics. He first performed ‘Saathiya’ live on Valentine’s Day, February 14, during a concert in Vadodara, describing that moment as the song’s true beginning.
“‘Saathiya’ is that feeling when love doesn’t need big words. It just quietly stays with you. This song is soft, honest, and very close to my heart,” Raval added.
Raval rose to national prominence after finishing as the first runner-up on the music reality show India’s Raw Star in 2014. He primarily works in Hindi and Gujarati music and has also released songs in Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, and Marathi. Over the years, he has built a strong following through a mix of film songs, independent singles, and albums, with several tracks becoming widely popular. (Source: IANS)
