Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor-starrer ‘Bawaal’ to have grand screening at Eiffel Tower
Mumbai– Actors Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are all set for the worldwide premiere of their upcoming film ‘Bawaal’. Before hitting OTT however, the movie will have its first screening at the Salle Gustave Eiffel in Paris.
The movie will make it the first Indian film to get a screening at the Eiffel Tower.
The film is a love story set in the backdrop of World War 2 and will feature a gripping narrative, taking the audiences on a journey through Europe.
“‘Bawaal’ will be the first Indian Film to have its premiere at the Eiffel Tower. The premiere will take place at the exquisite Salle Gustave Eiffel, offering a panoramic view of the city of love as the backdrop. Apart from Varun, Janhvi, Sajid, and Nitesh, the premiere will be attended by movie enthusiasts and French delegates, making it one of the biggest premieres for an Indian film,” a source told Pinkvilla.
Directed and co-written by Nitesh Tiwari, the romance drama is produced by Nadiadwala Grandsons.
The film was announced in 2020 and wrapped up production in July, 2022. Additional writing credits include Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain, Nikhil Mehrotra and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
Janhvi who was last seen in the 2022 releases ‘Mili’ and ‘Goodluck Jerry’ will also be seen in ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ and will be making her Tollywood debut in the Koratala Siva directorial ‘Devara’ starring NTR Jr alongside other projects which include and Saif Ali Khan.
Varun who was last seen in the film ‘Bhediya’ will now be starring in the Indian version of the American spy-thriller web series ‘Citadel’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Randeep Hooda wraps up ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’
The actor took to his Instagram on Thursday to share a video on the occasion of the film wrap up.
The video consists of several moments from the film’s production.
Along with the video, the actor wrote: “It’s a wrap for #VeerSavarkar. I have been to death and back for this film but that is a topic for another day. For now, big heartfelt thanks to my team, cast and crew, to have rallied day and night behind me through thick and thin and made it happen (sic).”
“Finally now I can eat properly, so looking forward to a scrumptious meal. Btw, there are a lot of MISCONCEPTIONS on what I ate and didn’t eat during this stretched period of shoot and I’ll clarify that VERY SOON. Vande Mataram! #ShootWrap #Gratitude,” he added.
Earlier, the first look of the film generated a lot of buzz owing to historical inaccuracies as was pointed out by the Chandra Kumar Bose, the grandnephew of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who said that Netaji was not inspired by Savarkar as they belonged to opposite ideologies.

Nawazuddin mentions Hrithik in Kangana’s production ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ promo
Mumbai– It’s came as a surprise when actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui mentioned actor Hrithik Roshan’s name during the promotion for ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ produced by Kangana Ranaut.
For the unversed, Kangana and Hrithik were at loggerheads after the actress claimed of once having an affair with him. She even called him a “silly ex” in an interview.
Now, on Instagram, Nawazuddin shared a promo for the upcoming film. In the clip he is seen sitting on a sofa and introducing himself.
He says: “Hello doston, mera naam sheru hai and log mujhe pyaar se Sheru hi bulate hain. Main Bollywood main kaam karta hun. Chhoti moti filmo ka bada producer hun.”
Nawazuddin then starts showing pictures of him with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
Adding to it, he says: “Hrithik gaya hua tha isliye nahi hai.”
The actor then gives a spin to his popular line from ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’ as he talks about his preferences for a suitable girl for marriage.
“Main aisi ladki dhund raha hu jo mera dhyaan rakhe lekin mujhse zyada mere bhai ka, baap ka, dada ka sabka dhyaan rakhe.”
In a hilarious way, he says he has no bad habits and then asks for biodata of girls who are keen to marry him.
Captioning the clip, he wrote: “Sheru miya ki toh baat hi kuch alag hai! Most desirable bachelor aise hi thodi na kehta hai! Dekhiye inki rollercoaster journey of love, jald hi.”

‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’: Nawaz’s ex-wife Aaliya says ‘divorce nahin hota to yahaan nahin ati’
Mumbai– Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Aaliya, who is a contestant in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, shared that if she had not taken divorce, she would not have come for the OTT show, hosted by Salman Khan.
In the recent episode, Aaliya was heard talking about her children to her fellow housemate.
She said: “My young son is like me. He keeps everything inside him. Even if he is missing me, he will not tell anyone. I am also like that. I do not share with anyone. He falls sick thinking about the problems too and gets unwell.”
In an emotional state, Aaliya said: “If I hadn’t taken a divorce, I wouldn’t have come here. But it is very important in life to finish the job.”
Previously in the show, Aaliya was seen talking about how she fell in love with Nawazuddin.
Aaliya had said that she knew Nawazuddin’s brother, who was then his assistant. She was staying somewhere as a paying guest and that was when the actor’s brother asked her to stay with them till she found a new place.
“I saw his photos first and I liked his eyes. His eyes are very sexy. Then we met and fell in love. Then we started living together. This has been our journey,” she said.
‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’: Maniesh Paul to join Salman Khan for first ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’
It remains to be seen whether Maniesh Paul will be making a guest appearance on the show or if he will be joining as a special guest to grill the contestants during the ‘Weekend Ka Waar’ episode.
Four contestants have been nominated for eviction in the first week of the show. The names include Bebika Dhurve, Jiya Shankar, Palak Purswani, and Avinash Sachdev out of which one will be shown the exit door.
Maniesh is currently seen in the digital release ‘Rafuchakkar’, which dropped on June 15.
‘Rafuchakkar’ traces the story of a con artist named Prince played by Maniesh Paul. He is accused of committing odd frauds involving anything from diet cookies to low-cost aeroplanes.
Directed by Ritam Shrivastava, ‘Rafuchakkar’ also stars Priya Bapat, Sushant Singh and Aksha Pardasany.
