Ayushmann gets time to meet wife Tahira after three months

Mumbai– Just after the release of “Article 15”, actor Ayushmann Khurrana headed for Lucknow, to shoot the upcoming films, “Bala” and “Gulabo Sitabo”. Owing to his hectic schedule he had to stay away from his wife, writer Tahira Kashyap, for months.

Now, finally, after a gap of three months, the actor has managed to take out time for his wife.

Ayushmann on Friday took to Instagram and posted a photograph of Tahira in which she is seen sitting on the floor with a Dior bag on her shoulder.

“Don’t know what is she trying to find out? Ghar ki chaabi gum gayi thi shaayad. Ya main gum gaya tha kuch maheeno se. Coming back to her after 3 months,” Ayushmann captioned the image.

A section of social media users, including members from film industry, were in “awe” of Tahira’s style, especially of the bag.

Praising Tahira’s style, producer Tanuj Garg wrote: “She looks more like a MI5 spook waiting to tote her gun.”

Actor Arjun Kapoor commented: “She is looking for the next gem of a script for you.”

Music composer Rochak Kohli wrote: “Dior khulla to nahi reh gya?”

Ayushmann and Tahira have two children, son Virajveer and daughter Varushka.

Hook-up with Kiara on Sidharth Malhotra’s mind

Mumbai– Actor Sidharth Malhotra might remain mum on his relationship status with “Lust Stories” star Kiara Advani, but she is on the list of actresses with whom he would like to hook up.

In an episode of a chat show, Sidharth was asked “who he would like to kill, marry and hook-up from Bollywood”.

To this, the actor, who has been linked with Kiara in the past, said: “I don’t have the heart to kill or a head to marry, so I’ll hook up with Kiara, Jacqueline Fernandez and Tara Sutaria”.

When it comes to the boy gang, Sidharth said: “Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Aditya Roy Kapur — they are buddies, I’ll hook up with all three. I am easy like that.”

Questioned about his views on the most promising actors, Sidharth said: “I see the most potential in Tara.”

Sidharth gave a witty response when asked about what his description would be on a dating app.

“The bio would read ‘Sundar, Susheel aur Risky’,” he said, while revealing that “the best thing about being single is that you have the whole bed to yourself”.

The actor opened up on the chat show, “By Invite Only”.

Big B celebrates ‘second birthday’

Mumbai– It’s been over three decades since megastar Amitabh Bachchan suffered a near-fatal accident while shooting for the 1982 film “Coolie”. His fans and family alike still cannot forget the day when Big B regained consciousness after days in hospital.

Recalling that incident, Big B shared that it is the love of fans that helped him spring back in life.

“Many are they that remember this day with love and respect and with prayer.. I can only say I am blessed to have such gracious thoughts with me.. it is this love that carries me on each day.. it is a debt that I shall never be able to repay,” the veteran actor tweeted.

Big B’s son and actor Abhishek Bachchan also took to social media to celebrate his father’s “second birthday”

“37 years ago in the Breach Candy hospital. My father was recovering from a near fatal accident on the sets of his film ‘Coolie’. Today – August 2, we celebrate his second birthday as he was miraculously revived by the doctors on this day. Happy Birthday Pa! Love you,” Abhsishek wrote on Instagram, along with an old photograph of himself as a young boy, and his elder sister Shweta as a young girl, with his father right after his recovery.

When Raveena Tandon rescued a kitten

Mumbai– Actress Raveena Tandon, known to be an animal lover, rescued a kitten recently.

The actress was out at a busy street of Bandra West when she saw the kitten wandering the streets. She got out of her car and picked it up.

Raveena then contacted People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India.

“It has been raining cats and dogs, and many puppies and kittens are in need of good homes,” said Raveena. “People can help animals by contacting PETA India if they are looking to welcome a dog or cat into their homes, by getting their own animal companions sterilised, and by supporting the sterilisation efforts of non-governmental organisations,” she added.

Raveena is also known to take to social media, to share details of abandoned dogs or urge followers to save tigers.

Ali Fazal alleges non-payment of dues

Mumbai– Actor Ali Fazal has called out producers of “Tadka”, directed by Prakash Raj, over non-payment of dues.

Ali was up for rude shock on social media on Thursday when he found a song of his film “Tadka” doing the rounds online.

Months after the Taapsee Pannu and Ali-starrer “Tadka” reportedly ran into legal trouble over the Intellectual Property Rights of the venture, Zee Music uploaded a song from the film on their official YouTube channel and also tweeted it.

Ali tweeted: “There’s a court case on the producers of this film as far as I remember. Cheques had bounced. Actors and crew still haven’t gotten paid. Surprised to see a promotional song coming out from the film.”

The movie has been produced by Prakash Raj along with Sameer Dixit and Jatish Verma, who are partners in a production house called Movie Makers.

According to a source, Ali was displeased with the rampant flouting of court rules which evidently had kept the film on hold. “Additionally, he saw the incident as a breach of ethical conduct on part of the producers who are yet to clear payments for the cast and crew but are willing to flaunt their film on social media.

Why Zoya Akhtar asked Ranveer to behave

Mumbai– Bollywood star Ranveer Singh sent social media into a meltdown by flaunting his toned physique through a shirtless photograph. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, however, asked the macho star to watch what he did.

Ranveer, known for his witty comments, took to Instagram to share a photograph of himself. “Me looking at you eating carbs like,” he captioned the snapshot.

The “Gully Boy” star won many hearts with his lean body in the image, which has been liked by over two million users.

Pulling Ranveer’s leg, Zoya commented: “Behave” with a smiling emoji.

Actor Dino Morea commented: “Sweet potato boss. Lovely. Looking full and final”, and Mrunal Thakur wrote: “Oh Lord”.

On the film front, Ranveer is busy with his upcoming film “’83”. The movie will trace India’s historic victory at the 1983 cricket World Cup. Ranveer will play the role of Kapil Dev, who captained the world champion team, while actress Deepika Padukone essays his wife Romi.

The film is slated to release on April 10, 2020, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

DJ Sumit remixing Mika’s hit song ‘Majnu’

New Delhi– DJ Sumit Sethi is working on a new project titled “Majnu Remix”, with singer Mika Singh.

The song, as the title suggests, is a remix of Mika’s upcoming track “Majnu”.

“The first time when Mika made me listen to the song for his new Bollywood movie, it shook me and I made up my mind to work on it. I started remixing the song and I feel so honoured that Mika himself agreed to give his voice to it. It’s a privilege to remix a song for him,” said Sumit.

The song’s video features Shama Sikander and Raai Laxmi.

Erica always wanted to be part of dance show

Mumbai– “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” actress Erica Fernandes says she has always wanted to be a part of a dance show, and she is getting to live her dream on “Nach Baliye 9”.

Erica and Parth Samthaan will make a grand appearance on the dance reality show, which also has other popular names from television competing with each other to win the title.

“I always wanted to be a part of a dance show and it happened with ‘Nach Baliye’.’It’s one of the most glamorous and biggest dance reality shows on Indian television and I d’dn’t even blink before saying yes to be a part of it,” said Erica.

“Will the audience get to see more of us on the show remains to be seen.”

“Nach Baliye 9 has former and current couples putting their best foot forward and making an attempt at winning the title and a grand prize money of Rs 50 lakh.

Sanjay Dutt’s Marathi production heads to Golden Globes

Mumbai– Actor Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanayata’s first Marathi production “Baba” under their banner Sanjay S Dutt Productions will be screened at the Golden Globes 2020.

The film, releasing in India on Friday, is officially selected for screening at the Golden Globes for competing in the foreign language category.

Maanayata said: “We are all so happy and proud that ‘Baba’ will be screened at the Golden Globes. Our goal is to create meaningful yet entertaining cinema through ‘Baba’.

“The movie released today and we hope the audiences receive the film with their love and support.”

They have three films under production already — a Punjabi film and two Hindi films.

Sanjay S Dutt Productions aims to branch out into regional cinema along with mainstream Bollywood films. They will also be collaborating with many renowned and established directors for their future projects.

Sanjay had earlier said: “We will try to make content driven cinema through our production house but we will not restrict ourselves by making only content driven films.

“I feel content driven films are very important but apart from that, we will make commercial and entertaining films as well and we will make all kinds of cinema.” (IANS)
