Modi greets Amitabh Bachchan on his 74th birthday

New Delhi–Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted Bollywodd megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his 74th birthday.

“Dear SrBachchan (Amitabh Bachchan), wishing you a very happy birthday. Your versatility and humility has many admirers. Praying for your long and healthy life,” Modi tweeted.

Bachchan was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s highest civilian honour in 2015, and Knight of the Legion of Honour by France in 2007 for his exceptional career in the world of cinema.

Bachchan has starred in superhit films like “Deewar”, “Zanjeer”, “Sholay”, “Don”, “Black”, “Sarkar”, “Agneepath”, “Paa” and “Piku” in his illustrious career.

Kabir Khan talks of ‘great walk’ with Salman

Mumbai– After delivering two blockbusters with Salman Khan — “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” — director Kabir Khan has joined hands with him for “Tubelight, and says it has been a “great walk together” with the superstar.

“Tiger… Bajrangi… Tubelight… It’s been a great walk together Salman Khan Tubelight,” Kabir tweeted on Monday.

Kabir will be exploring a “larger than life political backdrop” with the film, but the plot still remains under wraps. The film also stars Chinese actress-singer Zhu Zhu.

Sunny Leone shares artistic glimpse

Sunny Leone has spoken many a times of her love for painting, and on Monday, she took to social media to show her fans one of her creations.

She tweeted: “I always say I paint but never have showed you any pieces of art. So behind me is a dragon I painted… Hope you like it and if not that’s okay too.”

The actress, who ventured into Bollywood in 2012 with the erotic “Jism 2” thriller, also posted an image of herself posing with the painting in hues of red and gold.

Hrithik’s radio date with Kanpur

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan enjoyed meeting his fans in Kanpur as he launched FM station Radio City 104.8 here on Monday.

Hrithik introduced popular shows like Love Guru and Babbar Sher to the listeners.

“I am sure that the listeners too will groove to the melodies on air as much as I did. I believe Love Guru and Babbar Sher will continue to win hearts in Kanpur as they have across the nation. It was indeed an amazing experience to be here and meet my fans,” Hrithik said in a statement.

Abraham Thomas, CEO, Radio City said: “The content of the station is designed and customized keeping in mind the ‘Rag Rag Mein Daude City’ ideology with Babbar Sher, Love Guru and music being key drivers that would appeal to all Kanpuriyas.”
