Alan Khazei Talks About Filling Up Rep. Joe Kennedy’s Seat in the 4th Congressional District

BROOKLINE, MA–Alan Khazei is running for election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Massachusetts’ 4th Congressional District, which is currently held by Congressman Joe Kennedy (D-MA), who is retiring from the House and running for US Senate.

Mr. Khazei is on the ballot in the Democratic primary on Sept. 1, 2020. There are nine candidates in the Democratic Primary, and he is one of the top three candidates. If Mr. Khazei wins the primary, he will most likely be elected to the House of Representative from the heavily Democratic district.

Mr. Khazei hols a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He co-founded and worked as the CEO of the national service program City Year.

He also co-founded the Service Year Alliance and founded Democracy Entrepreneurs. He is the author of Big Citizenship: How Pragmatic Idealism Can Bring Out The Best in America. Khazei and his wife have two children and they live in Brookline, MA.
