Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan Unveil ‘Udta Teer’ Music Album Ahead of Film’s Release

MUMBAI — Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan have unveiled the complete music album for their upcoming film “Udta Teer,” ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on October 23.

Released Friday, the album features five songs composed and produced by the musical duo Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The soundtrack includes the film’s title track, along with “Bhootni Ka,” “Chann” and “Choozay,” offering a mix of romance, humor and energetic musical performances.

Khurrana said music plays an important role in connecting audiences with a film and described the album’s variety as one of its biggest strengths.

“Music has always been such an important part of how audiences connect with a film. What I enjoy about the music of ‘Udta Teer’ is the variety it brings to the film,” he said.

“Every song brings a different energy, whether it’s the fun and madness of ‘Bhootni Ka’, the attitude of ‘Choozay’ or the romance of ‘Chann. I think it’s the range that makes this album special. I’m looking forward to audiences discovering the songs and finding their own favourite,” he added.

Sara Ali Khan also praised the soundtrack for its range of musical styles and emotions, saying the songs reflect different aspects of the film’s story.

“What I love about the music of ‘Udta Teer’ is that no two songs feel the same. There’s fun, quirk, energy, romance and patriotism. Each song brings a different emotion to the film, and together they capture the many shades of its world. I’m excited for audiences to listen to the complete album and experience that variety for themselves,” she said.

Composers Sachin-Jigar said the film gave them an opportunity to experiment with different musical styles while maintaining a cohesive sound across the soundtrack.

“As composers, we enjoy exploring different sounds and finding the right musical language for every situation. ‘Udta Teer’ gave us the chance to do that across the album. Each song called for a different approach, which made the process exciting,” the duo said.

They added that collaborating with Bhattacharya and the album’s singers helped bring together the different moods and musical elements.

“We wanted every track to have its own identity while still feeling like a part of the same film, and working with Amitabh da on the lyrics and all the talented singers helped bring those different moods together,” they said.

With the full soundtrack now available, the filmmakers are continuing promotional activities ahead of the October 23 release. (Source: IANS)
