Shreya Ghoshal Announces South Africa Concerts as ‘Unstoppable Tour’ Heads to Durban and Pretoria

MUMBAI — Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal is bringing her “Unstoppable Tour” to South Africa this December, with concerts scheduled in Durban and Pretoria following her performances across North America.

Ghoshal will perform at the Durban International Convention Centre on December 4, followed by a concert at SunBet Arena Time Square in Pretoria on December 5.

The acclaimed singer expressed excitement about returning to South Africa and reconnecting with audiences through music.

“South Africa has always been a special place to return to, and I’m so happy to be bringing my ‘Unstoppable Tour’ to Durban and Pretoria. Every time I perform for audiences around the world, I’m reminded of how music brings us together, regardless of where we come from or what language we speak,” Ghoshal said.

“After such an incredible experience in the USA, and with our India tour coming up, I’m excited to continue this journey and meet my fans from South Africa once again. I can’t wait to be back on stage, sing these songs with you and create some beautiful memories together this December,” she added.

The South African concerts are part of Ghoshal’s international tour, which has included performances in the United States and will also feature upcoming shows in India.

Ghoshal is also introducing a ticketing initiative that gives Spotify users early access to concert tickets, making her the first Indian artist to offer presales through the streaming platform.

The first presale window will open October 18 at 8 a.m. Central Africa Time (CAT) and close October 19 at 7:59 a.m.

A second presale period will begin October 19 at 8 a.m. and conclude October 20 at 7:59 a.m., with general ticket sales starting October 20.

Meanwhile, Ghoshal has also reunited with fellow playback singer Sonu Nigam for the romantic song “Tujh Mein Basi Meri Jaan” from the Rajkummar Rao-starring film “Prahaar.”

The track marks another collaboration between the two singers, who have performed numerous popular Bollywood songs together.

Speaking about the recording, Ghoshal described the song as a celebration of love and companionship.

“‘Tujh Mein Basi Meri Jaan’ is a beautiful celebration of love, companionship, and those little moments that make a relationship special. It has such a warm and romantic soul, and I loved bringing that emotion alive through my voice. Singing alongside Sonu ji always brings a special musical feeling, and this song was no different,” she said.

The upcoming South African performances will give Ghoshal another opportunity to connect with her international fan base as she continues her concert tour across multiple countries. (Source: IANS)
